First off I purchased and was delivered the 10" Sensor Mirror Trio Max and thought I needed my mirror that large to apply makeup. As well as a larger area on the side the 10x mag mirror is located; however, having it on my vanity took up more room than I wanted to give it. Having the 10" for a short while before trading it in for the 8" definitely spoiled me. I did have to exchange my first 8" mirror for another as there were a few flaws, but the customer service was exceptional and didn't hesitate to send out a replacement. All that was needed on my end was, a few pics and some info from the mirror. They provided the label to send it back on them. Lastly, the delivery of my mirror(s) came super quick which was great because I couldn't wait to start using it. Thanks SH for a wonderful experience!!!!

The mirror came out the box with dozens of finger prints on the plastic cover - gross!! But the worse part is getting the mirror light to turn on and off. This mirror (I think) was designed to be stationary because it is HEAVY. As I walk by the mirror it turns on, when I want it to turn on it doesn't without a lot of effort. Then to turn off the "off" switch needs to be hit multiple times. The mirror portion is large as well - if you have a large face you will be happy. With that said the quality/color resolution of the mirror is excellent. The largest magnification is awkward to use as well. A simple on off switch would be a HUGH improvement (this may have a rechargeable battery - not sure) Think twice before spending $350!

I thought I was doing a pretty good job with my tweezing and makeup application with a pretty good magnifying makeup mirror. While waiting for an associate for blush, I looked at the SimpleHuman 5x mirror on sale. Holy cow, no idea those giant chin hairs were there. If I was missing that, figured I'd need 10x for my eyebrows. The answer is, YES I DID. This came home. Got the tweezing cleaned up. Next morning, got ready, checked the mirror and discovered how slap-dash my makeup application looked. I NEEDED this mirror. I balked at the price, but now realize it's kind of priceless keeping me from looking, well, less than... Yes, I wish I could adjust the tilt. Not sure I love the light coming on with motion rather than touch. Will it be returned? Absolutely not.

I love this mirror. It's a great size for a dressing table, very sturdy and stylish. Having the normal mirror and the x10 in the crescent shape at the bottom is ingenious. The 5x on the other side is great when you need to see your whole face in close up, but not too close up that it's scary. The lighting is adjustable for daylight and evening which is important when applying make-up to get the colours right. I really like the automatic feature turning the mirror as you don't end up with finger marks on the glass. It's expensive but worth it if you apply make up every day.
I’m 67 years old and have always used a makeup mirror as my mother and big sisters did before me. Never had a problem being able to see clearly in the older models but I wanted an updated more modern look so started a search for a newer mirror. I bought and returned two because the mirror lighting was terrible. I finally decided to stop playing around and just spend the money on the simply human mirror and I am so glad I did. The light is spectacular and the mirror itself is as clear as can be. This mirror was worth every cent to be able to actually see clearly what I am doing!! Thank you for an excellent product.
This is the third simple human mirror I have purchased. One was for my 13 year old granddaughter. She loves it!!Mine was not keeping a charge so I decided to buy the 10 inch mirror with the double touch to switch to 10x and 1x magnification and the other side has the 5x magnification which is what I use to put my make up on. Then tap twice and I look in the 1x magnification side which I think most people see me.I wish it would not have a plug and be able to tilt the mirror as I am short.I understand why since the mirror is bigger and has extra things like switching sides and needs to be plugged in.I LOVE LOVE this mirror. So glad I bought it. I'm 74 and I can see much better and people have complimented me.Great purchase - worth the expense and plug.

I love the choice of two types of lighting, and again, the lighting is like no other makeup mirror. On the other hand, I was surprised to see there was no way to tilt this mirror. Not being able to tilt the mirror made it too difficult for me to use it. I am short, and had to use a chair cushion to see my face in the 5X side. Then, flipping it to the other side, I had to slouch and bend my neck to an uncomfortable position to use the 10X section and I couldn’t see myself in the 1X section at all. When the mirror arrived I realized it was the one with a cord. I was ok with it once I saw why it needs a cord. It is so much bigger and brighter than my older 8" mirror. I like how it flips with just a touch and my husband is loving the magnifying mirror that is attached. I have had my older version for years and had broken the attched magnifing mirror because it had to be attached when you wanted to use it. This new design is great. No way to lose or break it from dropping while attaching, Because my older mirror still works, I gave it to my daughter. The only downside is the price tag but it really does have a ton of funtions. Also, be warned. you will see every and I mean every flaw in your skin. At 50ish I have many.

I have bought three mirrors previously thru Bed Bath and Beyond. I have been thrilled with them and worn them out. I needed another that I could keep in my RV for work, so I got this one. So you know I am a fan of these mirrors, but you seriously need to fire the engineer that designed this mirror. You can’t sit at a vanity because the mirror won’t tip forward and it doesn’t raise or lower. I have to stand and look down into the mirror. There is not comfortable view without completely changing the counters. I hate the electric cord. The chargeable mirrors are better. I missed that part when ordering, I was in a hurry. I am returning it or exchanging it.
