Moved a NSS12 Evo2 from the console to the upper station on our inshore boat, put the NSS16 at the console. WOW! From the responsiveness to the screen brightness.....couldn't be more pleased. The larger screen size is a huge benefit when it comes to navigating and especially powerful with StructureScan! Can't wait to get Active Target hooked up with the new software update that just came out.

So far so good. Very good feature set and most importantly very easy and intuitive. Stepped up every aspect of fishing we do. Running 2 16” and an 8” in upper station and everything has performed flawlessly.

Unit has great organization of menus and features. Allows for whole vessel integration with multiple systems and great Ease of Use between task and desired screens. Highly recommend!!!

The screen setups are flexible and very usable with multiple tiles. Have been using it for a month or so and am still learning the nuances of each source (radar, structure scan, multiple chart sources, overlay etc.) But so far am very happy with the unit.
This is my first Simrad product. While the graphics and simple navigation use is good, it is very difficult to learn how to program a course. I’ve watched YouTube videos and still can’t get it right.
If you had better tech support it would not have taken me 1.5 months to setup the unit after it was installed. Can’t believe you actually impose time limits on your tech employees. I spent over $20k on equipment (that does not include labor) only to be disconnected on multiple phone calls after 30 min. Really? I waited on hold for 40! The product works great once it’s setup properly.
Love the easy to use Simrad I have. I’m new to boating and was nervous about get-confused with the electronics. Not with this.
This unit is very user friendly. I love the fact that it’s touchscreen. The screen on this unit is perfectly clear and is always viewable in all lightning conditions. It’s capabilities are absolutely astonishing. I highly recommend this unit!
Been using this for a little over a month now after upgrading to this larger screen. Although I originally purchased this to have a larger map in rough water I am amazed at how much more I can see on the structure scan screen and love that I can have the chart, sonar and engine data all displayed at the same time large enough to be able to see all the critical info at a glance !
