Very quiet on the lower settings. Very economical on battery power. Direction of flow has lots of possibilities so great for our Motorhome. Timer function is handy for leaving on when going to sleep on a warm night but not having it run all night when it finally cools down.

The Fan is quite but still powerful and ideal for Caravan installation with its very low power consumption. The swivel fan housing and bracket is ideal for any installation location and position.

It draws next to no power, so we can run them all night when camped off grid with no concerns about draining batteries. They are quiet - just a low hum. I even have one in my combi right at my head, to circulate air as a small vehicle can get stuffy, even in cooler climates. I sleep soundly with it purring away only 6 inches above my head and it means I don't get woken by external noises such as traffic or noisy campers. I snuggle under the covers in cooler weather and aim it at the ceiling and sleep soundly. In the caravan we have one each at the foot of each single bed and they also help to keep sandflys off you at night (screens won't stop them).
This fan is perfect in our caravan, it has several settings for speed and time, it is very quiet and circulates the air extremely efficiently considering the size and very little amount of 12V power it uses. We are considering buying another one for the caravan. Great product we highly recommend. Thank you.
This is a perfect and surprisingly powerful 12v fan with several speeds. It is very well made and very quiet. Perfect for use in a camper. It uses very little power too, so could be used on a small battery if a car or camper socket was not available. Excellent!
Happy with the fan but for the top dollar price youd think it would run a brushless motor these days, much more efficient and last much longer and a remote control so you can turn it on/off from bed and the fan is not well balanced on high speed. The arms to the fan have a lot of flex and droop under its own weight so will bounce arround on a dirt road, maybe this is a good thing? Still the best caravan fan on the market and Id be happy with the price too if it didnt have an ancient technology cheap brushed motor and no remote control.
Fitted up 2 of these fans above the bed on our slideout Jayco Stirling, his and hers lol. Easy to fit, light weight and quiet, just tapped into the existing down lights above our heads and fitted them well back on a 45 deg angle as not to hit your head getting out of bed. You can angle them any direction you like with good speed settings and they have built in timers perfect for those warm nights when a gentle breeze will do
Sirocco fans are the only fan to have if you are on the road with a caravan or motorhome. After having had both motorhomes and caravans, these are the only fans I will fit into the vans.they are quite to run compared to other brand of fans, easy to install, circulate air well, and use very little power, which is important if you are off the grid, running on battery power. An all round great fan that will last and last.
Living off grid has become much more comfortable with great 12v products such as the Sirocco Fan. Quiet, functional, beautifully made and low power usage. Easy to install, however you will need 6 screws to fix the back plate. Tank care with fingers when on and moving fan. For adults it's just a fright, for little ones it may be a bit more, although the blades are plastic.
