The bakes are of great taste and they fill your stomach. They also have a large amount of carbs, which is great for long runs. The texture is kind of thick so you have to be into this. For me it’s okay. I would recommend to drink while eating it just because it is a big chunk. Taste is great!

Good to see a new flavour available. Just the right level of softness to be able to eat while running. Been using these bars as part of prep for 1st ultra trail event (51km) and have wirked really well. Usually eat these in first couple of hours before using gels. No gut issues.

I don’t know what SIS were trying to make with these but there’s nothing nice about eating these. For starters, as with most SIS products, there is a lot of packaging for something so small and out doesn’t look anything like the picture suggests. These also aren’t particularly tasty and also act as a sponge for any saliva or moisture you have in your mouth. If your mouth didn’t feel dry and parched before you eat this, it certainly will when you’ve finished. It’s like eating cardboard. I really couldn’t recommend these to anyone. I am a huge fan of SIS energy bars, but these are awful.

Good taste
21 May 2024

Have so far used the Strawberry and the Lemon ones. They remind me a bit of Kelloggs Nutri Grain bars without all the granola/oats like flakes. Very good consistency and the taste is subtle. Good, soft texture. Have been using them as pre-run fuel and so far have not had any issues.

Great Flavor
28 May 2024

The bars have a great flavor. They are more like eating a soft cookie than typical energy bar. it would be hard to eat these on the bike. I needed water in between bites. I'm going to use the rest of the bars I ordered as mid-day snack or when on a road trip.

Great for a long distance ride
5 May 2024

Whenever I went out for a long ride, I wanted to have something between the energy gels and the real meal. This fills the gap nicely. I like the taste, but knocking off one star because of the texture. It requires a plenty of water to consume.

Like giant fog newton bars. These taste amazing.
25 May 2024

They are large fig newton bars with other flavors. The center is slightly softer. They are amazing. Really awesome to eat on trail or as a snack (a 30g carb snack).Normally bars are a bit tough for me to like when I exercise but these are just right.

Surprisingly good
2 July 2024

I like SIS products but their flavors are just ok. These, however, taste very good. They're soft and easy to chew. The filling is a bit too sweet but that's expected with most energy food. A good amount of carbs in a smaller size compared to other products.

Tasty, but there’s a problem
9 May 2024

The flavors are well chosen and tasty. Texture and nutrition are both worthy of an A rating. But the product can’t succeed due to the price. There are just too many competing brands that come reasonably close to this in quality but at a lower price. Belly up to an otherwise excellent product, I confidently (but regrettably) anticipate…
