I use the SIS double espresso gels when I need an extra boost either for significant hill climbs or towards the end of long sportives. I can’t say they’re a taste great but they’re reasonably palatable when you need an extra hit and exhaustion takes hold. There is quite a significant amount of caffeine in these and the recommended amount is two gels in a day. To be honest I have found two to be more than enough in any given ride and as mentioned only use these on the longer all day sportives or mountainous climbing routes. Being the SIS hydro variety you do not need to take water with them. If your a coffee fan then you should be fine with the double espresso taste.

I've used these held for years, and always rate the quality of them.The double espresso flavour is great, and the extra caffeine hit the spot.Great price and service fromsigma sport.
When your concentration starts to go on long rides, these double espressos are my "go to", the caffeine really helps to "bring you back" & it's nice to have something that isn't sweet. Over the course of say a 6hr ride I'd only have maybe 1 or 2 but for me that is all I need.
These energy gels taste great and give you the boost you need. They are not sticky like some other brands that require a few glugs of water to get them down.
This is a good gel for those longer rides, gives a good burst when you're flagging! Great taste, no horrible after taste.
used many times and works for me everytime - Cola taste makes it enjoyable - hunt around for deals as retail price is on expensive side
Thought I would try a new flavour gel and these ones are delicious . I would definitely recommend them .
