The added caffeine definitely gives the boost to push through on long runs without feeling like it’s too much of a chore - exactly what you need for distance training/events.

A great taste and a brilliant item to have for long race events. I found these gels very good when I ran at the Southampton Marathon in September 2021. It was a very hot day and a course which had quite a bit of elevation. The gels came as a valuable boost when I was flagging during the second half of the race.

Not so sure about the taste , personally I’m not so keen . But I know it’s good stuff , and I feel it genuinely works . So I’ll get more . But I like the double espresso more 👍👍
I use the SIS double espresso gels when I need an extra boost either for significant hill climbs or towards the end of long sportives. I can’t say they’re a taste great but they’re reasonably palatable when you need an extra hit and exhaustion takes hold. There is quite a significant amount of caffeine in these and the recommended amount is two gels in a day. To be honest I have found two to be more than enough in any given ride and as mentioned only use these on the longer all day sportives or mountainous climbing routes. Being the SIS hydro variety you do not need to take water with them. If your a coffee fan then you should be fine with the double espresso taste.
SIS gels are far superior to any others. Nice and thin, easy on the stomach and taste divine (particularly Cherry). I only wish I could get hold of the Cola Caffeine ones.
I bough this product a couple of weeks ago. I use it for long runs ( >10miles) . It has a nice taste and keeps you going! For me , it doesn't make me feel pain in the stomach as opposite to other products . I would recommend it !
The SIS Go are a fantastic product. They taste great. Great for people who work nights like I do and those who do not drink coffee. They really do work.
