Only 3 stars because one egg does not really fill it as shown in the picture. (I do use large eggs.) This resulted in the egg being quite flat. I also found I overcooked the yolk to get the white firm. Is it good at anything? Well if you want a quick medium to hard egg this is super fast and does not cause much mess. If I'm in a hurry I will use it. If not I'll dry fry in a frying pan with a glass lid and a little water. I would therefore recommend for quick eggs. It is not expensive and, apart from being a bit too large, is well made.

Good value item which is well made. Takes a bit of practice getting the microwave timings correct. Wasn't sure what the instructions meant by a "a splash of water" needed, but my wife explained that a quick flick of slightly dripping wet fingers over the egg would suffice. Handy piece of kit. Must be good because I'm going to order a second!

I have purchased several of the Sistema Microwave containers, and I can say I have not been disappointed, this one is no exception, either making a poached egg, scrambled or omelette, its simple, quick and the best bit, cleans easily. just read the instructions, works well every time, I made sure my daughter had one to take to Uni. Great little product.
