This is my 4th bottle of this style because I really like the straw and the fact its completely covered by the cap. I looked at many others to find something similar but couldnt find anything else that was covered. They do leak slightly though but its only a dribble. When re filling its best to open the lid when putting it back on or it will leak a lot until the lid is opened because of the pressure.
Bought this cup because it is claimed to be leak proof. It isn’t. Used it for the first time today and it emptied half it’s contents into my case ruining an expensive book. Avoid
Bottle continuously leaks from the moment you fill it with liquid even when standing upright. Definitely not leak proof as it claims!
Bought 2x of these in store as thought having the straw design it would help me keep hydrated more easily whilst I worked in a facemask all day... as I can put the straw through one side of the mask to quickly take a drink and not keep taking the mask fully off.It works for this... but I cannot shut the lid without it leaking!? So have had to just keep filling up at work not before I leave home which is a nuisance.Basically when you shut the lid it applies pressure to the top of the straw/mouthpiece and it sucks the fluid up to the point it leaks outReally disappointed as Sistema is a great brand!
I bought one in my favorite colour. Too bad it is not leak-proof. Liquid leaks thru the straw even with the lid closed.
unfortunately these bottles will crack if they are dropped and make them unsuitable for sports activities where there is a likely chance of them slipping from hands.
The lid doesn’t clamp the straw down enough to stop it leaking if tipped slightly to much. So unless you’re going to fill this and only use it in the house or a big cup holder in the car it’s pretty useless. It’s not kid proof or work/gym bag proof. Really useless actually.
