SK II Facial Treatment Cleansing Oil 250ml

I've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! I had a chance to tried this cleansing oil because my sister gave it to me as my birthday present. This oil has transparent color, soft gel texture. This cleansing oil compared to other makeup remover oils, I find it much gentler. Typically, compared to Sulwhasoo DHC, it's not as thick as these two. The scent of this cleansing oil is very pleasant. This Cleansing oil will dissolve all makeup on your face and remove most makeup even stubborn water-based makeup. When I first used this, I have a lot of makeup on my face, sunscreen, even long-lasting mascara, .... Awesome feeling skin after use

I have never used an oil cleanser before and I was intrigued by the SK-II facial cleanser. I have a combination skin type, my T-Zone is very oily whereas the rest of the face is very dry, so I had a feeling that my skin may break out if I use the oil. I have been using it for some time now and I love how my skin feels after using it and thankfully no breakouts.One full pump of oil is enough for fully cleaning my face, I have followed the instructions of usage and it worked really well. The first step, massaging the oil onto the face picks up makeup as well as dirt from the skin very well and the circular massage feels really good after a tiring day. The only negative I would say is the time it requires to finish all the 3 steps than a regular cleanser is a little more, but if you consider the time you do not need to use wipes to remove the makeups 1st will bring down the time to more or less the same. The overall impression is really good and I would love to use the SKII cleanser again.

Gentle and Effective

Decided to give oil cleansing a try with a high quality product and glad this was what I went with. I have sensitive skin and and found this to be both gentle and effective. My skin looks amazing as a result with or without double cleansing. I've received compliments as a result. Highly recommended.

I'm a fan!

I have so say, I was hesitant to use an oil-based facial cleanser, given that I have always been prone to somewhat oily / shiny skin, especially on my T-Zone. But, having heard many times that oil-based cleansers can be really good for you skin I was willing to give this a try. After having used the product for several weeks I can safely say that it works quite well! Clean without being squeaky when rinsed with warm water, but leaves a residue of using a tissue to remove instead. It's expensive, but you get a large bottle. I didn't feel it was more effective or had any more skincare properties than other oils out there like Tatcha (similar consistency) or Kiehls (thinner, herbal scent). One star off because of this and the first ingredient contains mineral oil which Sephora does not include in the ingredients information but it's definitely on the packaging and the SK-II website. I don't mind mineral oil, but a lot of people do. This is one of my staples when double-cleansing every evening. $70 for 8.4 oz ($8.33/oz) is decent compared to my other favorite, the One Step Camellia Oil Cleanser at $48 for 5.1 oz ($9.41/oz). The bottle is a sturdy plastic(?) and the pump makes it easy to use. It’s gentle and not drying and loosens my makeup, sunscreen, and sebaceous filaments after massaging. I use less than a pump, apply onto dry face using dry hands, massage the oil into my face for at least 15 seconds (or more if wearing more makeup), add water and massage again to emulsify oil into a slightly thicker milky consistency, then wash off with water. It sometimes leaves a light film on my skin but it doesn’t matter to me since I always follow up with a second cleanser to wash it all away. Silky and Luxurious Oil

Best cleansing oil I’ve tried thus far. The one from Biossance used to be my fav but it does sting my eyes when I rinse it off. This feels even silkier than the Biossance one. It emulsifies beautifully as well. I use this to remove makeup and to double cleanse daily. Skin feels plump after! Does have a slight rosey scent to it which may bother some people.

The non oily oil

Runny consistency, very lightweight and doesn’t feel oily at all which makes me double wash my face just to make sure the make up is fully removed. Even after double washing my face does not feel dry and I have very dry skin. Does not strip moisture off my face either. Has been 6 months and I still have half a bottle left.
