I had gotten a sample of the mask with one of my points and really liked how the mask left my skin so I decided to purchase this kit solely for the mask and essence (I have not used the toner so I can not speak on that product) The essence alone is definitely a pricey product but I will forever continue to repurchase it because of the amazing results. My face has become brighter and my skin tone is more evened out. My skin looks so flawless and putting it on has become a favorite part of my skincare routine. I use this at night and in the morning and apply on it slightly damp skin for that extra moisture. I definitely recommend the essence and mask!

It took some convincing as I’ve been a diehard P50 1970 toner user for years. It’s the perfect set to get to know the brand. My breakouts are less intense and seem to heal within days rather than weeks. And call me crazy, but the age spots around my eyes have gotten lighter as well. Overall I’m thrilled with the products. So much so I the Treatment lotion full price before the VIB sale- and for $76 it seems like a very reasonable investment into my skin.If you are thinking about trying to see what all the hype is all about, I would definitely recommend this set. The treatment lotion is small, but it packed enough punch to get me to buy the big bottle, the essence will last you a while as I use it 2x a day and haven’t even put a dent in it.
I bought this set to try out well over a year ago. now I am on my second setI heard great things about the essence. it gave my skin a glow and refined pores, I was so happy with it. Then i went through a period when it didn't do much for my skin. I find that every few months I look at my skin and ask "hm... I wonder why it's still dull after my regular routine?" then reach for SKII for a couple of weeks, using essence morning and night. skin is clearer, more even tone and kind of a reset. also the treatment lotion is good on T zone every 2 months or so when I have clogged pores. The mask is nice, but I really just buy the set for the value on the essence and lotion.

If you consistently abuse and stress your body for days or weeks at a time, this mask is like faking 3 full nights sleep in 20 minutes. The jet lag time turner. I read somewhere that this toner is too strong too use daily so have been using intermittently with another acid toner that is more gentle and have not had any adverse reactions, breakouts, or flaking. Forever an SKII customer.TLDR: Buy it. I feel like if I had started using this sooner, I would actually love my skin.
It was perfect to take with me on my 10 day cruise to Alaska and then a week on Kauai. I ordered it to solve the problem of how to take my big essence with me. I used the toner everyday and after three weeks I still have a little left and the combo with the essence is a great deal. I have yet to use the mask but I am sure it will be wonderful. I have been using SK-II for about a year and a half and I got the best compliment a few months ago in Vegas by one of those people who try to give you skin samples from their kiosk. I had no makeup on just sunglasses and my hat and this person said come in real quick so I can give you some anti aging samples. I did and removed my sunglasses and she said “You don’t need anything.” “Your skin is great.” By the way I am almost 50.
I’m 50 years old and have been using facial treatment essence on and off for six years (when my budget allowed it). I look at pictures of me through the years and can tell when I was actively using it. The inner/outer glow is visible. I use it all the time now. I recently received the First Experience Kit as a gift. I just ordered the masks again because of that! Cate Blanchett was the spokesperson back when I was first introduced to SK-II. Thanks to Cate and SK-II, my skin is looking and feeling great.

For those of you that know what you are looking for this is an amazing AHA/BHA that promotes rapid skin cell turn over. My advice to you, your other products (expensive or not) are most likely doing you no favors. Try this ALONE for a week then add your other products back in (or don't, I never went back). I found all I needed was a good face wash (skin food egg white perfect pore $13) and to manually exfoliate once a week (neutrogena microderm abrasion $15 amazon). However the next day? My skin was glowing! It's now day 2 since I used it and my skin still looks amazing. I don't think this will be a staple because the price tag feels so ridiculous, but it's not a bad mask to have around for special occasions. I'm going to be looking into products in the future with Saccharomycopsis Ferment Filtrate, as that as well as Pitera seems to be the star ingredients.
