These Sketchers trainers let in water left, right and centre. I was not told that the mesh fabric will let water in. I was told they weren't waterproof. It was suggested that I buy the protector which doesn't work. When I get home from a short walk, my socks are wet. I contacted customer services and Anne said that it's obvious that the mesh will let water in because they are breathable. I had no idea the mesh would do this. The online description just says `sports mesh panels'. It doesn't mention holes all over the trainers. I am left with a pair of trainers that cannot be worn at all when it is raining.

I wear wide fit Skechers trainers in another style but was looking for a more substantial trainer, to wear during colder days, as my others are very light. These were described on the Pavers site, as extra wide. However, I found that in this style they are not wide enough for my really wide ladies feet. I have found a pair of waterproof walking shoes in another make which are a 6E and keep me warm and dry. I would suggest that the D'ites are a 4E and would be wide enough for most ladies with a substamtially wide foot, just not me. I think it is a shape thing.and I have returned them for a refund sadly. They look great, and hopefully will take a fair bit of wear, as my other skechers have done.

First bought a pair of these exact style shoes a few years ago at Big 5 and loved how they fit from day one. Wore the sole off of them practically. When it became apparent that I needed a new pair of tennis shoes, I was so happy to find that they still made this same style. And, Big 5 had them on sale, too. Love the memory foam insole and the monochromatic color scheme. The sparkly accents and gem on the tongue of the shoe is just an added personal bonus for me. As long as they make this shoe, I will continue to buy them. And, Big 5 has always had the best price in town for them. Last time I purchased them in-store. This time it was online. Both experiences were pleasant.

I love these shoes! I have 3 pairs different colors - all black, gray, black%26 white. They have really good arches and are very sturdy %26 durable. The soles are really textured and don’t usually slip. I hope they never quit making them. I use my old ones for yard work %26 camping. These are my go to shoes for everything.
I had one pair before & it was really comfortable. So, I reordered it after my old one was broken (after 3-4 years working like crazy). But the pair I order on Mark’s was something different. I believed there was an error on the right side. A hard part (which was not supposed to be there) was really annoyed my baby finger toe. It was not like that in the left side. I recognized that only after 2 days of using. Too lazy to refund.
I work 12 hour shifts and I am on standing in one spot my feet most if the time. I needed shoes that would be great at giving me the support and comfort I needed. The memory foam cushioning gave me the comfort I needed, it was like walking on a cloud. I loved support that I got from the shoes. The only thing I wished that these dlites had is the arch fit. I truly do believe that it make this shoe amazing. It would also be nice if they came in more colors.
I would consider finding another shoe before purchasing this one! I have had them for maybe a few weeks or so now. Was trying to give them some time. But my feet never stop hurting. The heel is so large it feels like you're wearing 8in heels. My feet hurt every day all day long even more so now. And even after taking them off for the day. Literally just thinking about putting them on is a struggle i would rather go barefoot. Very disappointed I spent so much money on these. my first delivery was stolen then I get the second package and finally able to wear them they are nothing like what I tried on in the store. Please reconsider before purchasing!
Wow, glad you showed a photo of my order because I mistakenly wrote an average review based on receiving the wrong size of the blue Skechers Galaxy shoes which weren't a wide width,, tho the box said wide, and they were NOT from Academy Sports. My bad. Sorry. The black Skechers D'lites that I did order from Academy Sports WERE the correct size and arrived very promptly and in perfect condition. They are extremely plush, definitely the most comfortable shoes that I ever had. Love them, and I did recommend them to everyone in my family and at work. I hope you never stop making them, as they are a great work shoe and a nice casual. For me, I can dress them up or down. The last pair I purchased lasted about 8 years before real wear began showing and the soles did not come off, but had been worn down from use. Regarding "storage", I do not know what conditions they were in from the time they were manufactured (Date Code on Tag: October 2019), until they were ordered by me approximatley 7 months later, on April 28, 2020. I do know that, after I received them, and before I began wearing them, they were in their original box, in a closet that had adequate air flow and regulated temperature. (Note: I am a minimalist, so I do not have much in my closet.) And finally, I am OCD about cleanliness, so they have been cleaned and maintained.After I received their response, I began research online, and discovered similar complaints, and the reason given being that it is the new type of glue they are using, so in my opinion, it is a defect. I should also note, though I did not include it in my complaint to Skechers, that after the first few times I wore the shoes, the printing on the insole stuck to my socks and began wearing. Just wanted to provide this information to anyone who may choose to read it. I am disheartened that Skechers are not what they use to be.
Love Skechers shoes, have bought many of them in all different colors. Especially love the D'Lites. That being said the tennis shoes all run small so I have to go up to a size 12 Women's and mens sizes don't fit right. I wear an 11 in everything else.I wish Skechers would offer more in the larger sizes instead of less. They're getting harder and harder to find in my size and I had to settle for designs I wouldn't normally buy. Hope this changes as I dread having to find a new brand of tennis shoes to wear.
