I bought these sandals for my trip to France and Italy. Departing two days after finising physical therapy for my leg, I was off. My only concern was that I wouldn't be able to keep up with my daughters with whom I travelled. No problem. We walked 200 miles in Europe, mostly in these sandals and then an additional 30 to 40 miles in New York. I was thrilled that I could do it and so thankful that I had bought the sandals. They absorb all the shock to your knees, legs and back as you walk and we walked on all different terrains. We walked on cobble stone streets, 2000 year old streets, hills and many, many stairs. These sandals should be great for trips with a lot of walking because the cushioning is great. I bought a second pair in beige. I have a wide foot but the straps near the toes on the 9W were not in a good position for my foot so I had to buy a 10M. The 10M are a little too long but otherwise they fit well. I'm a little concerned about whether the strap around the ankle will cause chafing. It's a bit thick and rough. Time will tell. I wear Skechers almost exclusively now. I wish they would find a designer who could create shoes that look good with skirts and dresses, have a low heel, and are comfortable and supportive. I am beginning to think it's not possible. It it were, why are they not available?

I love these summer sandals! I wear them to walk the dog 2+ hours every day, as well as out and about on vacation. They are light and comfortable, right from the first moment you put them on. You can wash them and they come out as good as new! The only drawback: the bottoms of the soles wear out too quickly--I have to buy new ones every year (but some years they are not available!)
I bought a nude pair of these last summer to wear all week at an amusement park. They worked great! Super lightweight, comfy, good support and didn't rub any blisters! They have slight cushioning on the inside of the ankle straps for extra comfort. I have worn in numerous settings and they still look great! Loved them so much I decided to get a black pair this summer! Definitely worth the purchase!!
I bought this sandal and loved it so much I now own 3 pairs in different colors. I wore them sightseeing in Italy a couple of weeks ago and my feet felt great. The footbed is nicely padded and pliable so standing and walking distances is not tiring or painful. The adjustable strap is wonderful for days when your feet swell a bit. The back ankle strap has a bit of padding that makes it extra comfortable. This design was well thought out. I have lots of Skechers shoes and designs like this keep me coming back for more. Please keep up the great work!
I had bought these sandals off a sale table in the khaki color and ordered another pair in black online. They are some of the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. They are great walking shoes. The footbed is cushioned and retains its spring. I did make one mistake. I thought my khaki pair was a 7W because that's what I usually wear, so I ordered the 7W in black. Turns out my first pair was a 7M and they fit perfectly. The 7W is just a little bit wider than I would have liked, but not so wide that it is uncomfortable. Just a caution that the wide width in this shoe is VERY wide.
I have bought Skechers before and been very happy. Not so much this time. The sole is very comfortable to walk on. However, it feels hot as if walking on an electric blanket. I would normally but 7.5 but not available. To be on safe side I bought an 8. Only just big enough. I take a B fitting so my foot is not wide. The instep strap just reached over my foot to barely cover the Velcro fitting. It seemed penny pinching That strap is the only bit which can be adjusted. Unlike other surf sandals where straps over toes have several adjustments, there are none on these. It is a pity as these are great to walk on, but I would not buy them again

However, my local store is either a "warehouse" or "outlet" (I have been told both) and does not get the new styles. I can wear medium-width shoes if they run narrow, so I ordered size 9 and 10 in each of two colors to cover my bases, as half sizes are not available in this style and I have purchased 9.5s in other styles. Size 10 was too long. Size 9 in natural was a good fit. Size 9 in black was tremendously wide, although it was marked as medium. If you must order online, I recommend ordering multiples of the desired size. Inconsistent sizing is not limited to this style - my husband and I have both encountered it with other styles. I absolutely love these Skecher sandals! I suffered with plantar fasciitis for over a year. I had podiatrist appointments and physiotherapy and the only brand I wore and will continue to wear are Skechers. I was hesitant to wear sandals because I worried about the support without my orthotics. I never should have second guessed footwear by Skechers. I have been able to wear the On the Go sandals daily! They give my feet the support they need and the sandals are so comfortable to wear. I have been asked more than once where I got the sandals. Kudos to Skechers for another success.
