I really like these shoes and sketchers is one of my favorite brands but the black paint I guess is what it is, on the heal is already chipping. It's right at the top of the heal where your ankle is. The part of the shoe you grab to help slide it over the heal. It chipped away and is white underneath which looks funny with such a dark shoe. I have only worn them a handful of times so they haven't even been through enough wear and tear to be broke in much less have cosmetic damage.The shoe however is very comfortable like all of sketchers memory foam shoes. Crazy comfortable shoes! I initially bought them for quick slip-ons to leave by the back door so I'd have something I could quickly throw on to take the dogs out on days too cold for flip-flops but ended up loving them so much when I tried them on that they're now going to be my new walking shoes. On day 3 of owning them I went on a 3 mile walk and had absolutely no foot pain afterwards, which is rare for me. Highly recommended for anyone - it seriously feels like walking on memory foam pillows. On top of that they're ridiculously affordable compared to other shoes I've bought that ended up being less comfortable than these. Just buy them, you won't regret it.

The shoes are not as pictured. The lining is blue in the picture but gray in reality. My mothers friend was admiring her pair with the blue lining and said she’d like some. They came with gray lining. Was very disappointed. The blue lining was part of the personality of the shoe. Most stores if they send you the wrong thing, say keep it and we’ll send the correct item. Walmart wants you to trot it back to the store where you get hassled over packaging to return. I had to go back to the mailing dept and buy a padded envelope to return something there once before they would complete the return. I see they still haven’t corrected the picture so my 2 phone calls did not spur action.
I have been buying this style of shoe from Sketchers for years and have seen the quality deteriorate over time. This pair was by far the worst. The memory foam cushion is only secured inside the shoe by a dot of glue at the heel, so when you walk it slips and slides inside the shoe and bunches up under your foot. After one day of wear, the glue had completely come loose. I ended up having to use some rubber cement to keep the memory foam in place. Once the foam was secured, the shoe was very comfortable.
Both of these Skecher shoes are so uncomfortable, I can't wear them. I would like to return them, but I don't know how. I purchased them on 2/13, and when I tried to take them back to Walmart, I was told they were Marketplace items, so I need to contract the seller. When I look on my Purchase History, there is no place for me to contract the seller. I know I should have returned them sooner, but I bought more comfortable Skechers directly from the company, and I forgot about these. I wish someone could help me.
MY DAUGHTER IN LAW WAS VISITING WHEN THE FIRST PAIR ARRIVED. THE FIRST PAIR DIDN'T FIT ME BECAUSE I LISTENED TO A REVIEWER AND ORDERED ONE SIZE LARGER THAN MY TRUE FIT SIZE WITH OTHER SKECHERS STYLES I HAD ORDERED THAT TRUELY FIT. THIS STYLE IS A 'SLIP ON' STYLE. IT NEEDED TO BE A LARGER SIZE FOR ME. BOTH MY DAUGHTER IN LAW AND I LOVED THE WHITE 'SLIP ON' WITH THE SILVER STRIP FOR TRIM SO I GAVE A PAIR TO HER. HER DAUGHTER LOVED THEM AND SHE WANTED TO ORDER A PAIR FOR HER. BUT, SHE COULD NOT FIND A PAIR ON THE CANADIAN SKETCHERS WEBSITE. THEREFORE SHE HAD TO DO AS I DID AND GO TO THE USA SKETCHERS SITE TO PURCHASE THIS PARTICULAR WOMAN'S STYLE (WHITE SLIP ON RUNNER WITH A FULL WRAP AROUND SILVER TRIM JUST ABOVE THE SOLE OF THE RUNNER).
I bought these Skechers for the stylish look, and they are stylish! These are very lightweight and I like that you can slip them on without having to tie or untie. However, I was hoping that they'd have a thicker sole. These shoes are for some light walking or browsing. I usually buy shoes that are made for running thus having thicker soles and durability. These are not really made for long distance walking - but they are soft, but I feel a little too soft that I can feel the rocks/pebbles on a road. I most likely will NOT buy another pair, these are trendy but not practical for me.
First of all, I don't write reviews. I just read them. However, I purchased the Skechers Summit in BURLINGTON a few days ago. I was attracted to the style (black/ coral trim) and the price. I decided to wear them to run errands the next day and I've been wearing them every day since. I never thought much of Skechers. I'm a flip flop, sandal gal when it comes to summer footwear. I have never worn a more comfortable, lightweight and supporting shoe. I immediately felt relief of my knee pain and noticed that my gait was steadier than ever! I'm over 65 and fairly active. I'm looking for my second pair and would highly recommend these to a friend!!
I've looked for sketcher that will feel right when I wear it. Gone to some store but with limited stock. Shoe carnival had loads of style to select from and also come in regular or wide fit in most styles. Tried 3 styles before choosing the one that fits me the best with looks,comfort and style. Cheapest cost too with one's that I was looking for and old have settled but I am very pleased with my purchase. Service was great and they let you shop without bothering you. Thanks shoe carnival .
