I ended up getting these in 4 different colours they were so comfortable!I’m a 28G normally and I got both L/XL and 2X/3X as I wasn’t sure which to get - honestly both are fine! I wanted to make sure I had extra room in the cups for when the milk supply comes in, but even the L/XL has a tonne of stretch. The back sizes fit me comfortably without having to stretch a bunch, so I’m curious how this would fit in someone else with a bigger back size! This is the first nursing bra that I’ve found that I can clip and unclip one handed! The fabric is super soft and almost cold, it’s hard to describe but the fabric is slinky and stretchy. My boobs were super itchy and sensitive through pregnancy and the skims bras have been the only things I can wear.My only gripe is that ... I’ve worn this bra before and after a breast reduction, and the S/M and L/XL bras are true to size! This is a compressive fabric that stretches to 2-3x its size. I’ve worn three of these bras nearly daily for several months, and they’ve held up their shape and support better than my True & Co, Knix and Honeylove wireless bras. This Skims bra is more supportive than those other brands. If you’re looking for a sleep bra, this bra may be too compressive. Before my breast reduction, I was a 36F, and the L/XL fit well, but it likely wouldn’t if I had been much larger. It is by far the most supportive wireless bra I’ve tried since I stopped wearing bras with wires 8+ years ago. After the reduction, I’m a 34B/C, and the S/M is perfect.

I get it it. You open the box and it is infant size looking. However, this fabric has an amazing ability to stretch, provide some support and feel like I have nothing on. I wear a 34H Freya bra for natural breasts not plastic surgery. I require underwire for bras, swimwear and sportsbras. This Skims sculpting bralette covers my girls, I can adjust the straps to provide some lift and it's a nice option to have for days at home, long travel days, etc. I am able to wear a L/XL but it doesn't cover the girls as well. My girls look better in an underwire bra but this is a wonderful addition to have for certain types of shirts and loungewear.

The Sculpting Bralette is everything it claims! After struggling to find shape, support, style, and comfort in a bra that didn't require constant adjusting and secret repositioning...I decided to give Skims a trial run.It is snug to the skin, creates shape without flattening, and the material is amazing. I purchased the Large, as recommended by the size chart, and it was a perfect fit.Being paralyzed requires constant tugging, pulling, and shifting of a bra, and not one time was there a need to make any adjustments. The frustration that a bra can cause some unfortunate women is exhausting, but for the first time, I was worry free all day.I generally don't take the time to leave reviews. But I did today for all the women who wake up everyday having to sacrifice comfort for shape, sexy for functionality, volume for support, or quality for affordability. I promise that the first time wearing this bralette, I made zero sacrifices. This bra checks every box and I cannot wait to get my next sets.(I purchased the Large and normally wear a 34B, so larger bust sizes may find the Large a bit small to fit, but otherwise...A+)
This bralette is good, but I wouldn't order it again.I was super excited to try this after hearing good reviews from plus sized women. The support is okay, not amazing, I would say it's pretty similar to a sports bra. My biggest issue with this bralette is that it rolls up. The little plastic grip band does absolutely nothing. Tried everything I could think of, but the bottom of the band and sometimes the straps roll and twist. It can make it very tight and uncomfortable as the pressure is placed on one part of the band only, instead of spread throughout. I have to put it on by stepping into it, I tried putting it on over my head and it rolled up so tightly I couldn't straighten it out!Overall wouldn't recommend for plus sized women, especially for the price.
I was so excited to purchase this bra. I jus had my first baby and now live in nursing bras. This skims nursing bra has beautiful color very soft material that’s gentle on my nipples. However the straps are CONSTANTLY falling off- it is not a sizing issue. They simply slip off during nursing and regular use, I believe the straps are too slim/don’t have any grip. Along with this the strap inside the cup that makes the bra a nursing bra is very uncomfortable. Most nursing bras have a whole triangle of fabric, however, the skins one is a thin elastic strap like the shoulder strap. Because it’s supposed to be a tight elastic strap to keep your breast in the bra it is tighter and cuts into your breast making it uncomfortable after hours of wear. Instead of the strap ... Because it’s supposed to be a tight elastic strap to keep your breast in the bra it is tighter and cuts into your breast making it uncomfortable after hours of wear. Instead of the strap inside the bra I would have preferred a triangle of the soft fabric that actual bra is made out of. Hoping skims releases a razor back style that is more supportive of nursing women- our breast size changes throughout the day and having a more supportive bra style and cut off would be best.
I’ve tried several nursing bras and they didn’t seem to fit my large breasts well. Skims was recommended so I gave it a try. It fits well and better than the other ones I’ve tried, but I can’t wear it for too long because it’s so uncomfortable. The stitching and finishing on the back buckle area is not well done and there’s a hard spot that just pokes my back all day long. Loosening the back does not fix it either. Then there are the straps. I understand they must be supportive but the edging is so stiff too. Again, loosening does not get rid of the issue, in fact, it makes it impossible to clip and unclip the nursing flap portion, which just hangs on to another uncomfortable piece that is rough and not soft to be the supporting piece that keeps the bra ... I’m disappointed after hearing good things. Won’t be buying another one, and will continue to search for a nursing bra that fits but is also soft on the skin.
Ok so love the fabric & the comfortable support, but I agree w a lot of other reviews. The silicone band rolls up & is uncomfortable & makes it hard to get on & off. Also the straps are too thin for anything above a C cup. After awhile they dig in, I’m a 40DDLast, it’s completely sheer w no nipple coverage. You can see right thru it & if your nipples tend to be hard, then you will def be on display w this bra.I would love to wear this daily, but they need to add an option to purchase w a thin cup/liner or add removable cups. It says no where that it’s basically a sheer, unlined bra. I wanted to love this so bad. Really disappointed
I would live and die in this maternity bra- it is that simple. As a naturally bigger busted girl, finding comfortable maternity bras that provided the right amount of support has been a seven month long battle. Starting as a DD, growing to what is now an E-F, I had tried Bonds, Hot milk lingerie, boody, etc. non of them quite fit the bill, they were either uncomfortable generally to wear for a full day, the cups were too squishy or they just didn’t offer the support these giant boobs need for things like going out or a day at work. Cue skims. I was initially looking for a bralette type thing I could wear around the house- I decided to check out skims and saw the price was right and they looked comfy. Great to wear while on maternity leave and breastfeeding. It was HEAVEN from the moment I put this sculpting bra on! It is perfectly elastic aged so there is no discomfort from the band on my back or sides, plus no little rolls or lumps from a too-tight band. The cups provide the perfect amount of coverage and the support is AMAZING! I didn’t think I could get support like this from a non-underwire bra! Plus, my boobs look amazing. The material is also thick enough that I don’t have to worry about aggressive nipples, so I can wear these to work or when going out. Do yourself a favour and buy ten. Please.
I wear a 34G (34DDDD) bra and have always been scared of mesh bras, because they lack the support my large bust needs. I love everything Skims so I decided to try one of these out anyway. 34G is not on the size chart, so I initially purchased the L/XL, which is my usual bralette size from other companies. It fit well enough to keep rather than deal with a return, but wasn’t as full coverage as I would prefer, and the band was really tight. I ordered another in size 2X/3X and thought it fit great. I only realized after I washed it that I was sent the wrong size, and this was actually a 4X/5X not 2X/3X! I think I will order a 2X/3X next time though, as I have to tighten the straps on this one all the way. Many sizes can work it just depends on how much coverage in the ... I think I will order a 2X/3X next time though, as I have to tighten the straps on this one all the way. Many sizes can work it just depends on how much coverage in the cup you want. The L/XL covers 70% of my breasts, and the 4X/5X covers 90%. There is about a 1.5” difference in the size of the band between the L/XL and the 4X/5X.I will say that the band runs very tight, so I would not recommend this for those who are above a 36/38. The straps dig in slightly, the edges feel kind of “sharp”. They would be more comfortable if they were rounded on the edges. The cups are like the fits everybody fabric, super thin, so nips will show. If I’m going out in public I just pop in some pads from my other bralettes, and it gives me more coverage. The band sometimes curls up/rides up on me, especially in the smaller size. That being said, it is surprisingly supportive even for my G cup boobs, especially for having such thin fabric and no structured cup. My breasts definitely have a more flattering shape in this compared to a traditional bralette. The straps sit off far to the side near the armpit, so they do not show under tops. And the back dips rather low. I am able to wear this with many of my dresses that normally would require a strapless bra. I’ve worn mine 4-5 times each and they are washing well so far, no quality issues.I definitely recommend this if you are looking for something in between a bralette and an underwire bra!
