I've been eying this serum for a while before I finally bought it because I heard so much good about it. And I'm happy to report that the serum absolutely lived up to the hype. The serum is really light-weight and absorbed into the skin quickly without leaving any sticky feeling. It never irritated my skin and made my skin look glowy and bright. It's not revolutionizing anything but it does what it promises and it does it well. This vitamin C serum is the best I've tried so far. I've finished the bottle recently and already ordered another one.

My skin has developed tolerance with vitamin C already because I used to use Klairs Vitamin C. But, since its price is getting expensive, I found this Skin&Lab Vitamin C as an alternative. So far, it is gentle enough for my skin. I like the texture of this one better than the Klairs. Klairs is like an oil that has a warming sensation. I waited few weeks before doing the review to see how it works, my skin is just fine, no purging nor breakouts, but nothing extraordinary yet. But, I will keep using it since all the aestheticians and dermatologists are discussing how vitamin C benefits our skin.

It is moisturizing enough for my skin, I don't know how it will work for someone with dry skin. The good thing is that you can layer it. The consistency isn't too thick and it isn't watery. It does not have a strong scent. I think this would be ideal for someone with sensitive skin. It has brightened my complexion a bit and so far it has not made me breakout. Pleasantly surprised by this. May be a bit too heavy for oilier skin, but great for normal or drier skins. Has a slightly thicker, serum-like feel. For comparison, I also like Drunk Elephant and Allies of Skin 35% Vitamin C. Do not care for Skinceuticals (too much alcohol) and the other off brands with loads of essential oils/fragrance. This one has no scent and a great ingredient list. No tingling (or bare minimum thereof)
I'm totally blown away by this serum! When it comes to Vit C products I'm very picky and I'm also an Ascorbic acid fan of 15%. It's the first time I use a derivative form of vit C and a Korean Vit C product in general, except for testers of course, because Korean products and are very mild when it comes to actives and tend to use them in quite low percentages. But they also have formulas that combine many other hydrating, brightening and soothing ingredients which I love! This product is one excellent example of that! My skin says I adore this product and I want to drink it everyday! I have no particular skin issues, but this serum is a Holy Grail rejuvenating my skin into its best version! LOVE IT!!!

I was blown away by how much I enjoyed this Vitamin C serum. First of all, the texture is amazing. It is a very lightweight serum that absorbs quickly. I never get any tingling or burning sensation and there is no detectable scent. Most Vitamin C serums feel tight and dry on my mature skin but Skin & Lab Vitamin C Brightening Serum left my face hydrated, plump and moisturized underneath my longwear foundation. I also love how compatible the serum is with my other skincare products. My old acne spots and hyperpigmentation started fading after 8 weeks of consistent use but did nothing for my age spots. I will definitely buy this product again!
I've lost count how many times I've purchased this item. I've always been skeptical with vitamin c serums due to the percentage of it as some can be harsh on your skin but this product is amazing. I have normal skin but I'm always mindful what products I use on.my face and if its safe for sensitive skin it should be for normal. Its a light gel texture but 2 small drops goes a long way.Definitely recommend this product for those who are considering getting a vitamin c for the first time I guarantee you won't be disappointed more like obsessed!
