I love this product - I have used retinol in the past and have experienced skin sensitivity and flaking. This product I have been using for 2 weeks and have not found either of these issues. My skin looks fresh, even toned and younger. This product fits in beautifully with my other skinstitue products.

I've used it for 2 weeks and seems like there's some improvement in my acne already. I bought this because I was sick and tired of breakouts. I have to use it longer to really ascertain it's effectiveness, but so far so good. I'll definitely be using this product for a while.

I used this serum as part of my prep work to have some treatments done on my pigmentation. While the pigmentation did not clear up as much as I would have liked, I found the serum quite nice to use. It has a light texture and no scent and found that when applied it sunk right into my skin nicely. I found that my oiliness around my t zone dropped dramatically after use this for a couple of weeks. Although I didn't notice any difference to my pigmentation, I continue to use the retinol serum to provide further protection from future pigmentation and oil control. The good thing about Skinstitut is that you can buy these in packs for a discounted price, which is great! Easy product to use and a nice one to try in the range.
ORDER #500021624 I have used this nightly for a month with no obvious results. I will continue to use as my skin is soft and I like serums. However I am constantly dubious on skin products and the promises they make yet for me don't deliver. I believe anti-wrinkle injections and fillers are the only actual way of reducing the signs of ageing, apart from cosmetic surgery. This and laser treatments or strong peels. But I will keep searching for the perfect product and keep using skinstitute in the meantime as they are ok.
This serum was recommended to me to reduce the visibility of pigmentation. It’s a great lightweight serum that’s easy to use, it spreads well and sinks straight in. It doesn’t irritate which is great as I tend to have sensitive skin and the retinol in this didn’t burn or cause discomfort. I noticed a reduction in oil in my tzone which is great as this has been a problem for me, and while there was a small difference in my pigmentation I loved how my skin looked brighter, less tired and more youthful and my fine lines were less visible. I would recommend this retinol serum, it is as quite economical and effective

I have been using Skinstitute retinol for 2 years and recently bought this product with new packaging. Unfortunately the serum burnt my skin and I woke up with two blisters and a red flaky face. Perhaps the formula has changed so I will wait for my skin to repair and try again, using it less frequently and building up over time. Just be careful how often you apply it when you first purchase it, even if you have been using retinol products prior to using this one.
Retinol Serum is a very affordable skin care product that needs no prescription! It functions similarly to tretinoin prescription products often prescribed for increased skin cell turnover. Only, it is more commercially available! I had it compared with a health professional who own a thriving pharmacy and he said its difference was minimal how wondrous is this product! I love this, my skin adores this, my pride worships this! I recommend this:)
This is the only product I've ever used that has made a real difference to my breakout prone skin. I did initially go through the 'purge' phase, but by slowly building up the use of retinol, and applying after the moisturiser for the first month or so, my skin began to even out. This is the first time in my life (I'm 31) that I feel confident in my skin. I rarely get any breakouts now, and if I do they are very minor and clear up quickly. The texture of my skin is so much better as well. Would highly recommend!
