We've tried everything- changing the height, using a thicker/thinner pole... nothing works! My kids get frustrated (as do my husband and I) until we give up and put it away. We try again a few days later just to find that it *still* doesn't work! Waste of money...

I have this product for a little while now. The problem is, is that the straps have started to fray. If you hit the ball too hard the thing that holds the strap breaks. Overall this has given me a great experience. You learn how to hit the ball on the line much better. You can definently tell when you have hit the ball too much on top or on the bottom of the ball. Great Product!
I wish I could give this a better review because it has provided my two boys countless hours of practice. Unfortunately the first one I purchased began to come apart within the first week. The detail at the ball broke off and as the bats began to suffer damage so to did the cable holding the ball in place. I was less concerned with the superficial damage to the bats but once I realized there was no way to repair the Hit-A-Way when the cable finally snapped I opted to purchase another. The second one began to fall apart on day one and we have had it for just two months and it is close to the end of being useful. Don't think I'll purchase another until I am certain SKLZ has designed a better version. My boys are not monsters crushing a baseball 300 plus feet so I ... We got this for my son about a month ago and works great. I thought it would work good on one of our likes in the back yard, but the straps are too small for it. We hve to find a pole that’s small enough to work. I wish we went with the one that has its own stand instead. Once we get a pole to use it on, works great

I think the Hit-A-Way improves a hitters hand eye coordination, improves bat speed, timing, and helps keep your head still & down on the ball when making contact. All of these skills are crucial for making solid contact with the baseball. Also, people should know that they should not use an expensive bat when using the Hit-A-Way. If they hit the plastic piece at the end of the ball it may put a small dent on the bat. My son always uses a wood bat when hitting the Hit-A-Way. When he uses the PTS Hit-A-Way I have to put 50# sand bags on each leg to hold it down in place. He has developed such a controlled violent swing that when he makes contact with the ball the whole PTS unit shakes and the legs jump off the ground, it's impressive. My only gripe is I need to order a replacement ball and cable for the PTS Hit-A-Way but it is not available. Please advise on how I can get a replacement. Thanks!
My son got this for Christmas with a new bat. I set it up and it seemed to be functioning as it's supposed to. Within 10 minutes the plastic cap was broken off the baseball and the metal underneath has left multiple chips in his new bat.
I bought this for my son this Christmas and the first day he used it the stitching broke and it just wouldn’t work well. Also, he used a wood bat to train and it left tons of big dents in it along with a crack in the bat. I hope no one else wastes there money on such a bad product.
