It's nice to find something quality in this day and age where even automobiles are built to fail after a certain amount of time. I got tired of electric razors, both foil and rotary, advertising they last up to 3 months with daily use to have them fail miserably after as little as three weeks. This is a pretty decent replacement shaver head. This is my third for the Pit Bull pro palm/head shaver. I have medium/thick hair. (where it wants to grow, at least) I shave twice a week. Sometimes waiting 5 days between shaves. This head has lasted about 8 months at a time without any oiling. Just me rinsing the unit out each time. I’ll probably continue to buy it until something else better comes along. But, in the meantime. This is the best I’ve found. I hope this review helps someone make a decision.

All angles and shapes of surfaces were shave-able.With the Forte, I can't use usual pressure on my neck. I have wet shaved with a some type of razor blade since my early teens. Often with irritation and ingrown hairs. When I joined the Air Force and due to how fast and course my facial hair is, I often shaved twice a day. That frequency was a tough go for 6 years. My Job now demands that I am clean shaven daily. Mind you I now shave my head too. After coming to terms with myself that such a close shave with a blade was giving me the irritation that I was getting. I tried one of Skull Shaver Pit bulls. I love the fact that my skin is no longer irritated. The Shave is comfortable and close enough that I look presentable to the public that I serve.
So I’ve used all 3 blades like a crazy person just because I wanted to find the best one for me because I’m not naturally going bald, so full head to shave. This is definitely my favorite blade, it just felt like the smoothest, cleanest closest shave out of the 3. The Carver is a good blade and right behind this one, not bad if you want to save a little money. The Baron is definitely what they say, it’s for people with sensitive skin, didn’t feel as smooth or comfortable. I’m not naturally going bald so take into consideration I have to shave a full head. The Forte did the best for that. Definitely recommend this blade.
This replacement head works great. Had an issue with the delivery however I contacted the company via email and the response was immediate. Another head was shipped within a couple of days. I enjoy my shaver and am very impressed and appreciative of the quality of the products and most of all the customer service experience. I highly recommend this Company and their products. Despite all reports from friends, I was slightly sceptical about just hoe "close" this blade head would get, dry. STRIPES!! Having previously and laboriously "clipped" to about 2 to 2.5 mm, I am amazed at how close this thing gets - well bloody close is all I can say - my head is FREEZING (UK winter & temp dropped to 0C).So super close, super quick head shaves with no soreness and no beggering about photographing the back of my head checking for tufts. Why didn't I come sooner??
These 4 head replacement blades work great on my PitBull Gold. I use them in, or out of the shower. I rinse them in the cup frequently while I’m shaving, then pop the face cover off and rinse them out under the faucet after each use. I use them on my head (I use a razor on my face) 2-3 times a week. Every other day works best for a smoother shave that doesn’t take as long. I set the reminder on my phone for 11 weeks out and replace them within the 3 month recommended period. That new set always feels so good and reminds me how the shaver felt when I first got it. I take good care of my shaver, clean and dry it after each use, and don’t recharge it till it gets down to around 20%, which is several (usually 5-7) shaves for me. I've been using Forte PRO for quite a while now and I pleased to have found such a good product that allow me to keep my skull clean and neat. I used another cheaper options in the past, but they were not as good as Forte Pro and I had to buy the whole thing (blade + motor) every 3/4 months. With this one I can actually use the old blade to shave other part of my body as they actually still work, just not as good as I want them to work on my head. If you use it with dry skin it will last one extra month. In my case after 4 months, they blades get a little bit lazy, so I rather change it an gain time every morning.
