Things I liked - - Pretty compact and easy to carry. - Lightweight and handy. - Ok quality of plastic used according to the price. - Sound is pretty good and bass is normal good. - Battery life is around 3 to 3 and half hours of earbuds on one charge and 10 to 10 and a half hour battery with case. Battery is ok for the price range. - Very easy to pair with Bluetooth 5.0. Things I did not like - - Get dirty inside when earphones are out as dust gets in from the earphone cut out. - Do not have tile tracking like other Skullcandy buds. - Control buttons give a little problem using while wearing the earphone. - Battery life is a little low compared to other earbuds in this price range.  As far as the sound goes, they are not top of the line, but neither is the price. I think the sound is excellent, with a better than expected sound range and depth for this price point. There is also some inherent noise damping based on the design and how the tips fit into your ears. I found these to be highly comfortable, and I've worn them up to 4 hours straight. As far as the sound range, it's a bit heavier bass than treble, but I think the bass quality compliments running tempo playlists well. As far as calls go, the sound quality incoming is slightly above average and the outgoing sound and damping seems to be above average. Comfortable and excellent sound

I almost always use bluetooth wireless headphones that sit over your ears. I typically have issues with earbuds because my ears are sensitive and hurt with most earbuds even when used for short periods of time. I got these Skullcandy Jib Wired Earbuds and immediately changed the ear pieces to the smaller ones included (thank you!) I wasn't expecting much but they were very comfortable. The sound is great too. I mostly just watch shows on my iPad or listen to games while playing on my Switch but I enjoy the sound that I get. I was able to watch a full movie with these earbuds without any discomfort at all. It was a nice plus for me. Pleasantly surprised by the comfort of these earbuds. I can't set my iPad up on the counter and listen to shows while wearing the wired earbuds. I still recommend these, they are perfect for lazy days or when you're at your desk for hours.

Corded. *smacks forehead*

Ok, ok. I was kinda mad when I opened the package and saw the jack on the end of the cord that I can't use with my current phone. But I'm old enough to have an older work computer with a headphone jack and a positively ancient mp3 player. So, I was actually able to put these earbuds to the test. I like Skullcandy for their lightweight earpieces - I have an OLD pair that I still use on occasion when I can tolerate the one ear cutting in and out. I put that pair through the wringer and they held up surprisingly well. They were comfortable and stayed in place. And now it's time for THIS pair to out the old. So far, so good. I will say that these kiiiiiiinda beat the pants off the old pair with how good they sound (I guess a decade of advancement will do that...). I ... MoreOk, ok. I have chill EDM playing right now and the bass is fantastic! And, I can barely hear my fingers typing on my loud keyboard! They fit just like the old pair, stay in place, and don't seem to fatigue my ears as fast as other larger bluetooth earbuds do. I have small ears, so the struggle is real to find comfortable in-ear headphones that don't suction the air out of my tiny head. Nobody likes tinny EDM. Thumbs up, Skullcandy. This pair of earbuds (yes, there's a mic, too) is as promised, with a simple functional button, excellent sound, and a good length of cord. The cord material seems like your typical pinch-able soft rubber whatever-it-is-all-earbud-cords-are-made-of-these-days. Just keep your wire-loving animals away and they'll serve you well.

Favourite cheap headphones

Crisp sound, clear mic. All and all great product. I have been using these on and on for years now, since around 2016-17. I brought a pair again a year ago for my laptop and they're still a delight. I am genuinely surprised at the negative feedback because I can't fault these. I make music on my laptop and sing through the mic and it's clear as day, no need to even buy a professional mic (I was contemplating). Comfortable, easy to put in, comes with extra ear pieces so you can find a size that fits you. My two year old chews on them all the time and they still work like they're new, so they're super durable. I've been contemplating buying a more expensive pair of headphones but can't seem to bring myself to do it when these $19 head phones do an amazing job!

Nice cheaper headphones

The Skullycandy Jibs are a nice little set of headphones for casual use on your phone or computer. I have a phone without a headphone jack so I decided to test these out for my computer. These are not my first pair of Skullcandy headphones, I have been familiar with their products for a few years now. Despite the packaging being a little difficult to open (use scissors to cut the plastic and do NOT cut through the headphones!) I was able to get to them with a little patience. The headphones have a clearer sound than previous ones I have had in the past. It seems like they focused on getting rid of the "tinny" sound that cheaper headphones always hand and focused on putting more bass into them which I appreciate. The click controls are a nice feature too! Be sure to hang onto the instructions until you get the feel of them. I would say Skullycandy headphones have come a long way since I first had them in middle school. I would recommend these headphones for a good quality set of cheaper headphones for anyone looking.

Are you familiar with the term "planned obsolescence"? Manufacturers aim to make a profit, so they intentionally design products that will not last and last, so they can make more money off of you by getting you to return to buy more of their chintzy product. I have a refrigerator as old as my brother: 34 years old. I don't think manufacturers make things like they used to. Case in point: these horrible headphones. Target needs to come up with something just as comfortable with good sound that lasts as long as these do (on average, under 5 months) -- but at half the price of Skullcandy. OR, Skullcandy needs to make it super-easy (free return shipping to Skullcandy to honor their manufacturer's warranty, so it is actually worth the effort to pursue).
