These earbuds work pretty well. They aren't too difficult to pair and have easily accessible controls. They stay charged for good amount of time and haven't given me any issues so far. It seems to have a decent Bluetooth range as well. The few drawbacks are sound quality, earbud size, and length of wire. You can hardly hear any bass, even the smallest earbud covers seem to be too big for my ears (which aren't all that small), and the wire is awkwardly long and I have to tuck it into my clothes. These aren't necessarily deal breakers - I still use them and would recommend if you want something inexpensive and easy to use.

A great solution for phones without headphone jacks. It allows you to enjoy Bluetooth capabilities without having to deal with missing earbuds like true wireless variations. I can listen to my music while I'm in a different room with the door closed. My only gripe is that I can't fast forward to a part of a song, it can only move to the next and previous song, as well as pause/play, change volume and take calls. I would need to use my phone to skip ahead to a part of a song I like. So if you were listening to an audiobook in the dark, you'd have to stare at your phone screen to rewind or fast forward. So it doesn't replace the functionality of an mp3 player that is more tactile

Earbuds stopped working after a short while and they wouldn't let me return them!

I was really looking forward getting these headphones and I really liked them at first, but then only after 2 weeks they wouldn't connect to each other. I tried everything even there official support video was no help at all. Also they were really big earbuds. I tried the smallest pading and even without it and it was very uncomfortable. I bought a second pair that were a bit smaller and would hopefully connect to each other. And only after a DAY they wouldn't connect to each other so I tried to take them back but for some absolutely ridiculous reason they said they couldn't!!! I spent my money on 2 of them and they refused to let me get my money back! What a waste of $200! I'm never ever going to buy a skullcandy product in my life again!

Good for calls, Ok for music
17 October 2021

Good basic headphones but don’t expect high quality. They are very comfortable in ear pieces that stay snug in the ear with movement. They are also light weight so very comfortable around the back neck and shoulders. The pairing and volume adjustment is easy. The call clarity is very good so I use them mostly for work but it does not have noise canceling so keep that in mind if in noisy cubicles. The receiver of the call let me know they could hear the clicking buttons when I was adjusting my volume so I recommend doing that on mute or through the phone rather than buttons. For music- it’s basic as I mentioned so do not expect bass. It’s not a full sound as it’s mostly treble. But these are decent for the price.

Perfect for those smaller ears that all the other buds hurt.
11 March 2022

Oh my, I finally found a set to fit my tiny ears correctly. While these aren't some super bass blow out your eardrum buds, they sound good, and are very easy to use. The best part is, they stay in my ears and don't hurt my ears. They actually go far enough in to stay, and sit very comfortably. I almost forget I am wearing them, but then 5 hours later I remember when the lady says low battery. lol. The two pack makes it through my whole work day and then some, without a recharge. These recharge pretty quick too, about 30 mins for a full 5 hour full blasting volume charge. I am so happy I found these. Best ear buds I ever used!!

Poor experience

These are the worst headphones I have ever used.Straight out of the box they were mediocre, but nothing to complain about off the hop. The design is ugly and inconvenient, the buttons aren’t smooth and the sound isn’t great in terms of volume or quality. They also can’t be used when they are charging and don’t hold a charge as long as they say they do. I would be very pleasantly surprised to get 5 hours out of these headphones.Again, the battery life isn’t the worst but it’s pretty annoying when you’re half way through a project and they die. The most annoying thing is probably how little warning it gives you before powering down when the battery gets low. These were my observations in the first month of owning these headphones. The most annoying thing is probably how little warning it gives you before powering down when the battery gets low. These were my observations in the first month of owning these headphones. On Boxing Day at Best Buy I almost advised somebody not to bother with these and get a different product, but decided to mind my own business. I literally have lost sleep over it since, because I wish I had said “don’t get the JIB, You will regret it.”After about 5 weeks, I started experiencing problems turning the headphones on. To turn them on, you are supposed to gently hold down the middle button for 3 seconds. Well you could hold it for a bloody hour and you may not hit the right spot to get these pieces of garbage to turn on. You could hold it down for three seconds at a time rapidly over and over again and it’s still no use. As if all that weren’t enough, now the main phone is completely blown, so even if they do turn on I can barely hear my music.I should mention that the microphone is also not sufficient for talking on the phone unless you’re in a quiet room which kinda defeats the purpose. That’s an extra shame as I only got these because they have a microphone for calling, and the Bluetooth/phone technology is super janky and has delays.I had the Ink’d skull candies before this model, and I have to say there is absolutely no comparison. Almost twice the battery life, better design, better sound quality. Buyer Beware: The skull candy Jib wireless headphones are NOT worth it.

Silicon ear peices
15 October 2022

I had to replace a set of these I had purchased a about 1 year ago. I use them for actively for 2-3 hrs a day. I usually charge them at night. Weather does affect how other people hear you. I was using the original set like normal, but the volume from the device started to fall off. It has three phrases. "Power on," "Connected" and "Power off." I couldn't hear these phrases anymore. Then the volume on the things I was listening to started to fall. Eventually it was on maximum and I couldn't hear what I was listening to. So I got a replacement set. -- Only complaint - or frustration is/are the controls are on the lefthand side. I would prefer them on the righthand of the set to start with. So the controls are on the righthand side now. You can also use different sized ear pieces. I use the medium one on one side and the small one on the other side.

User Guide and micro-USB port needs improvement
1 October 2021

This Skullcandy "Wireless Simplicity" wireless earbuds works well with clear voice and sounds; however, it took me awhile to figure out how to use it after finally charging it. The User Guide is so long because it's in 16 languages but barely says anything at all. The pictures were the only helpful guide. I still don't even know how long it should really take to fully charge the earbuds because there isn't any information in the User Guide or the box! LOL The other problem I didn't like about these earbuds is the micro USB charging port being held by a tiny plastic only once you open the port. I can see this little flap not lasting long after a few tugs to open it to charge the earbuds. Other than these two issues, the earbuds work great and I'd still recommend them.

Worst Bluetooth headphones ever probably
15 February 2023

The worst headphones SC has ever made. Yes they're cheap but I had the old ones they made in this design from like 2019 and they were a hundred times better than these. First of all they have a BRIGHT BLUE light that blinks like every other second (literally) when you're using them. So if you're using them to go to bed like I do a lot you will hate them. Second the battery life is so bad. The first time these say "low battery" they will be dead within 5 minutes tops. Maybe the battery would last longer without the stupid light??? Go back to the old design even if they're like $25-30, I'd buy them again if they were back to the old design.

So I usually love skull candy products and use their corded headphones often. This set is a miss in my opinion. It's not clear from the description that the wrap-around part is not solid. In this case, it's not a solid piece but instead like a cord that wraps around your neck. Also, the rubber stopper that closes the charging port is already not flat going back into place. I've owned these for like 5 days. BUT by far the biggest issue is the design of the headphone part. The little loops that they designed with these make it so that they cannot fit into my ear area correctly. They don't fit snuggly into my ear hole like the usual Skullcandy do. They are designed to go back towards your ear if the pictures are accurate and for me, that is not physically possible. ... MoreSo I usually love skull candy products and use their corded headphones often.
