These headphones where a replacement for my broken bluetooth model. They did not have it in stock and gave me credit to pick something else. I went with the corded version since I did need a pair for streaming purposes and I've been happy with them the same way I was with the bluetooth model. The only downside to these headphones is that they are VERY easy to break if you're not careful. The plastic headband has a delicate point where the extensions are and if you're not careful when taking them off on a lower band level they will snap. That was the issue with the more expensive model and its the same on this one. That said I love the comfort and even though the headband is delicate I like how easy it is to clean these headphones properly. they are lightweight and ... I'd love another pair at some point to have a backup if I do break them but customer service took care of me this time so I doubt it will be a problem next time either.

I am a huge fan of these headphones! Since buying my first pair of Riff Wireless, I've worn my way through several sets, making fairly heavy daily use of them for videos and music (I like to always be listening to something) and well as audio/video calling, until eventually the battery stops holding a charge and it's time for a replacement. Aside from accidentally breaking the headband on my first pair, I've found them to be an extremely solid, comfortable, quality set of wireless headphones for everyday use. They charge fast, sound great, fold up conveniently, and are very comfy. They're also very simple, which was great for me as someone who doesn't want to fuss with a bunch of complicated audio settings or buttons. A reliable product that has become an ... They charge fast, sound great, fold up conveniently, and are very comfy. They're also very simple, which was great for me as someone who doesn't want to fuss with a bunch of complicated audio settings or buttons. A reliable product that has become an indispensible part of my daily routine for chores, household tasks, and phone/video calls. If you want something fancy or high-tech with active noise-cancelling and gagetry these might disappoint, but if you want a basic wireless headset with good sound quality that feels worth its price point, these have always felt precisely worth their $70.HOWEVER, as excellent as the Riff Wireless was, what has truly impressed me enough to actually sit down and write this review is the suite of thoughtful minor upgrades that have been made to the original product in this Riff 2 Wireless edition - finally, sequel that's just as good if not better than the original!! I just got my first set of the new "2" edition this week and I am *very* pleased with what has been added to improve them while keeping the base product that I love intact. Skullcandy clearly listened to user feedback here. The Aux Cord port will finally allow me to use my headset for video calls on the workstation computers at my job, where Bluetooth connections are prohibited for security reasons, which was an unexpected plus on a headset I was already going to buy anyway. The audio cues that tell you if it's on/off/charging/pairing have been revamped, and it can now actively connect to multiple devices at once. The lower-limit threshold on headset volume that would previously cut the sound off (with an annoying beep) entirely if you tried to turn it down to some of the quieter ranges of a device's volume scale also seems to have been removed, allowing me to bring the volume down to just a whisper when I want to listen to some soft jams while napping, or have a hockey game on while my roommate studies without blowing out my ears, which is great! It's a minor letdown that the set can no longer be actively used to play sound while charging like the original version could (the Riff 2 shuts off when you plug a charger in and won't let you turn it on until you unplug it), but I assume this change is probably a battery life protection measure, and honestly it charges so fast and holds a charge for so long that I don't see it being super inconvenient as long as I remember to plug it in overnight once every few days. After charging it for the first time I used it fairly frequently for nearly four days before it even started to dip below 40%! The switch to USB-C from the previous micro-USB charging port was really nice too, since that now means the headset can share a charging cord with my phone and I have one less cord to keep track of.Since I've been through a few Riff Wireless sets and used them pretty heavily, I would make two major recommendations if you are buying this product and want to get the most out of it:1) Purchase some sort of case for the headset if you plan to take advantage of the folding function for serious or frequent travel. It folds up very neatly, but the band that goes over your head is only mere mortal plastic, and I broke that part on my first pair by taking them on a single bus trip relatively unprotected in my backpack (it got an invisible crack from bending or jostling, and then snapped in half the next time I went to put them on my head). Skullcandy warranty didn't cover it. However since I bought a cheap generic hard-shell zipper case (9inch×6in×3in) from the dollar store for travelling with them, I've never had this problem with subsequent pairs, despite taking them on lots and lots of trips, flights, and commutes in all sorts of luggage.2) Avoid using "rapid-charging" high-voltage wall adapters (the part that allows you to plug a USB cord into a wall outlet - there isn't one included with the headset) for charging, such as the ones that come with an iPad or some cellphones. In my experience, using these high-voltage adapters will cause the battery to wear out and stop holding a charge much faster over a lifetime of charging cycles, and you only get a minimal improvement on the already pretty speedy standard charging speed of the headphones. Just get a regular adapter block if you want to plug it into the wall.2b) FYI, the USB-C cable that comes with the headphones is literally like 2 inches long. Like the size of a credit card. You will probably want to purchase a longer one unless you're cool with the headset being directly on top of/next to whatever you plugged it into while it charges, especially if you're going to use wall outlets a lot. I don't really understand the logic of the super-short cord, Skullcandy switched to it for this product about two years ago and I've never used them. Thankfully any cheap charging cord with a compatible USB-C plug will work just fine. All in all, Riff 2 Wireless is an impressively solid upgrade on what I already considered a fantastic and dependable favourite product. Nothing fancy, just exactly what I need in a simple everyday headset. So nice to see something get better in the newest edition instead of worse! If they continue to make 'em like this, I see no reason why I won't be right back here buying another set whenever my newest pair finally bites the dust in a couple years. Would absolutely recommend!!

When I purchased the headphones, I thought they were for me. My husband opened the box at the mailbox and told me how he was excited I got him this early Xmas present. He loves the softness of the cushioned earmuffs as he calls them. He loves the fur of the headband and the noise cancelling feature. I buy your products for the outstanding sound quality. The sake price didn't hurt either. Thank you for the superior quality of headphone.

The sound is good, but the controls are awful. The ear pieces are reasonably comfortabe and the bluetooth function works well. The controls are very small buttons covered completely by one long relatively thick rubber or plastic cover. Individually covered buttons (maybe even a little larger) would be much better. The cover is so thick it is hard to tell when the buttons actually click to indicate being pushed. Maybe it is just my fat, numb fingers, but I have a lot of trouble using the controls. If the controls were better, I would give these a much higher rating.
So this is my 3rd pair of Riffs. This one being the latest generation. But the head strap has some serious issues. For starters it has these sharp corners that irritate my slightly receding hair line. So being I’m almost bald, I don’t have the cushion of a full head of hair to insulate, secondly if I bend over forward, they fall off. And I have a BIG head. Sound-wise, they are one of my favorite Skullcandy offerings, but the head strap just needs some more R&D. Overall I’m a big fan of this company and their customer service is second to none.
As someone with no hair, the ‘band’ over the head is quite uncomfortable and prevents me from using the device for extended periods. Wish there was some padding there, even a thin layer would be sufficient. Controls: they’re too tightly condensed, it’s difficult to push the right button when the device is on the head. Charging: Wish it had micro USB vs USB-C. I love SC products but this one was a swing and a miss for me. Passed them along to my daughter instead.
I ordered two sets of headphones from Skullcandy and they only sent one. When I contacted Skullcandy to alert them of the problem and sent photos showing that the shipping box was labeled "1 of 1" and that the second pair arrived, they told it was up to me to contact UPS to see what happened. This was a Skullcandy issue, not UPS. UPS can only mail what was shipped. The second pair was not shipped. Skullcandy never did anything to resolve this issue. I am still waiting on my reimbursement for the second pair that never arrived. I will never shop here again. Advise you to seek a different company with honest people.
The audio quality on these headphones is just fantastic for their £50 price, they're light and comfortable on your head. The sound they provide always sounds clean, balanced be it on max volume or the lowest volume, perfect for on the go, in the gym or even playing games at home. The battery life on these is also quite phenomenonal they've lasted longer then the stated 32 hours of play time. Great pair of headphones if you're looking to go cheap while still maintaining quality, would recommend.
For $50 and some dollars, I would say that these were a great purchase for its price point. Although the sound slightly leaks when it's loud, I have no issue with that as nobody should have their music that loud anyways. There is little noise cancellation but when you play music, it blocks out a lot of the noise. So if you wan't noise good cancellation headphones, these aren't for you. The bluetooth pairing was extremely simple, there is a button in the middle of the volume bottoms and if you press it down. It says "Bluetooth ready to pair," or something along those lines. I have an iPhone so it connected extremely easily. However, they do have an app to connect these headphones to your phone if your phone doesn't allow bluetooth or you can't connect which I thought ... The only downside for me was the band itself, I wished it was a little wider and thicker. It looks kind of weird but that's just my personal opinion. Overall, these are great and I will be taking these overseas with me!
Sound and battery life seem good. Controls are very small and cannot be operated with gloves on. Finding the "pause" button while on the head is difficult even with gloves off. So not so good for outdoor use in winter. Bluetooth range seems limited - have to carry phone in right coat pocket to maintain connection. If phone in left coat pocket connection become intermittent.
