I do actually quite enjoy the game. With the Switch version, you can get away with just upper body movements. This, of course, brilliant for anyone with movement difficulties in the legs. I (for example) have swelling in and around my ankle due to arthritis and have had to temporarily give up dancing. Because the Switch only registers the joycon's movement, I actually barely had to move my legs at all. (Which is currently ideal!)Ubisoft does, however, sadly, lock over 400 songs from previous games behind a lovely paywall. It will regularly (every time you turn the game on at the very least) to use your free month's trial and (presumably thereafter) give them all your money. I'm assuming it only does this if you load up the adult version of the game rather than the ... MoreI do actually quite enjoy the game. My daughter loves the game. I like how it came with a month free trial of the unlimited subscription. Sadly it ended but will buy the subscription soon. I think they I should include more songs for free but because my daughter likes the songs on there it is not a huge issue. Like how there are different modes and it counts calories burnt. We bought it for our Nintendo switch.

I'm a huge fan of this game for weight loss and exercise, and the concept is basically the same as the older games. However, the menu has gotten to be... A lot. I think they keep looking for ways to grab your attention, but the first time I opened the menu, I felt lost. The amount of songs you have without buying Unlimited really is not a lot, but I think the subscription is worth it regardless.

Bought for our 4 and 5 year old girls to enjoy primarily. The switch version is pretty simple to get going with as you just to hold the joy con controller and dance around. There's a new kids mode which makes it easy for the girls to dance to some simpler songs, which is good, but when we're all dancing we use the main game. Unlimtis good, you get a month for free, but not sure how we'll feel about paying for it when our month is up!
Purchased with the smallest female MamaMoomin's Christmas money. This game is fast, fun and family friendly! It combines all previous Just Dance editions with brand new songs and dances. There is also a keep fit mode where you can dance yourself thin. A variety of different abilities, and a kids mode for the smaller members of the family, this game is great for all ages and abilities.
I've never danced so hard in my life. Mainly got the gift for the other half but she roped me in to a few duets and I moved parts of my body that were otherwise content to stay docile and not be bothered. I paid for it the next day when said parts were refusing to cooperate with my need to get up and walk places. So I got a day in bed for it.Anyway point being, this is a fun game if your agile and nimble, and like dancing. If you're none of those things I would suggest ordering traction. I'm sure retrolio does this...
Just the game with no portalMy son is a huge fan of Skylanders. We ended up switching from a Playstation 3 to a Playstation 4 because my daughter decided to shove some cardboard in the disc slot of the Playstation 3. This is my son's favorite game in the Skylanders series so I had to get him a new copy but he already had the portal because we used it with the Playstation 3. Great game and it is nice that they do sell just the game.3 people found this helpful
Kids liked playing the game, but were limited by the selection of songs. We paid for a month of the membership, but then after it was paid it only appeared on 1 account on the Switch and the rest of the Family could not play the new songs, then after 3 days the pain membership went away and we could not access it any longer. It would not let me register or sign in to the account. I Googled it and found this has been an issue with multiple games of the same title each year.
Game showed up in perfect working order!I dont think this game has high re-playability but my kid seriously regretted giving up this title! And once the pandemic hit, it became much harder to replace the disk! I was grateful to find it even if the price was a little high.2 people found this helpful
