I received one of these several years ago from my daughter and her husband. It was packed away when we had to paint our home and recently we found it in storage. I was so thrilled with it when it was set up again that I bought six more of them for my children for my both my sisters. It is the most wonderful gift I think I've ever received. We have four grandchildren and nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren and this shows us continuously memories and beautiful updates of all of our family. All of my children love these and keep them going and we constantly exchange pictures with just the press of a button. I have it on all day long and then just put it to sleep at 10:00 in the evening. I can't even imagine how I had pictures and albums tucked away and never looked at them unless I took the albums out. This way I have a constant array of beautiful photos that I can look at and love on and cry with and communicate other photos from my family every single day. I wouldn't be without it truly. Thank you skylight for all your customer service questions that I have and just in the past when I was first deciding to buy more for my family members You were so helpful. I would recommend this to anyone who loves either personal photos or scenic photos it is absolutely wonderful.

Help and instructions absolutely awful. Once you get it going, it works well, but nothing works as described in the initial set up. Expect a hassle. I invited many friends to share via a set up prompt in the app and it sent ONLY a link to download the app...no info about how they could share with me included. i had to field questions for hours and type up real instructions on what to do. There is no user manual-just hundreds of FAQ articles which don't help. The plus feature is very misleading as to what it does. "Any device"as it states it will allow you to use to show your photos, does not include a smart TV unless you pay even more than the annual subscription for plus.

I have used a digital calendar (in addition to a paper one) for years. The digital calendar has been a family calendar, and it syncs between all of our phones. But it’s still nice to have a large overview of what we have going on up at the house, so I would use a dry erase calendar. But just to give you some perspective, my dry erase calendar hasn’t been changed since September 2021 - it was just one more thing to do each month, in the middle of an already jam packed schedule! So I asked for this for my birthday, and immediately set it up. It’s on my desk in the middle of our house where everyone can see it - and my kids love it just as much as I do! I love my skylight frame which my daughters gave me for Christmas. I have early mild dementia, and seeing pictures of my family as everyone has grown and then adding pictures of my family growing up, my wife’s family and my wife’s pictures when she was a child and her parents, my parents, it has made all the difference helping me keep my memories alive!I have also put pictures of all my vacations, because now I am handicapped as well as having my memory go away, I have gone through old photos and used my camera phone to copy pictures that have wonderful memories like my bin wedding album . I love the idea of this product. I received it as a gift from my daughters, and it’s a great way for them to share pictures.However, we have had connection issues since day one. Usually resolved by resetting the WiFi, but it’s annoying to have to do.The connectivity issues are preferable to what I have now, which is nothing.The device will simply not power on. The kids spent a fair amount of money on something that doesn’t work. I would love to see my youngest daughters recent engagement photos scrolling across that screen, which is unfortunately just blank.
I bought one of the earliest Skylight Frames years ago for my wife. She set it up easily and has enjoyed it immensely. This Christmas, I bought one for my 82 year old, somewhat tech-challenged mom. I also arranged for my niece to help her set it up but before my niece got there, my mom attempted to do it on her own. It turned in to a 4-day drama for my entire family. NOBODY could access the screen to input the activation code, therefore it wasn’t receiving photos. My mom actually called customer service and while it took a substantial amount of time, the customer service agent (Julien? Photo attached) was able to rectify the issue. Once pictures uploaded, my mom LOVED it and the family enjoys sending her pictures. I’d definitely buy again and am considering the new calendar product. Even with the issues we had, the customer service experience gives me confidence that future problems could be rectified.
My daughter got me this Skylight Frame when they moved to Florida.... so I get updates on them (my daughter, son-in-law and grandson). I love the concept... but having to have it plugged in, in order for it to work, is inconvenient for placing the device on the wall or 9n a display shelf. Having to keep it plugged in so it works makes the device look tack and makes the place it is displayed look cluttered because of the cord. Why wasn't it designed to be rechargeable? Like I said, I love the concept, but requiringit to be plugged in for it to work, makes it appear cheap, tacky and cluttered. No matter where it is displayed, the cord is not asthetically pleasing.So, is my Skylight not working like it should, or was the aesthetic part of this device not even considered?
My daughter bought me one for my birthday this year. My 8 year old grandson loves checking out the pictures on it when he comes to see us. Especially when it says tap to view new pictures. So when you recently had your sale, I bought 3 of them for gifts, for special people in our lives. And one of them is for my grandson, and his parents house. I know they’ll be so excited, as will the other two people I bought them for. Best gift ever. And it’s great for people whose families are far apart. Thanks for a great product. Totally satisfied.
My sister-in-law is deeply affected by dementia, and is unable to use her cell phone or computer to keep in touch with friends and family. Wanting to keep her as much in contact as possible with her outer world, I gave her the skylight frame for Christmas. It has turned out to be the perfect gift. Not only is she enjoying contact with family members; my brother has sent her email address out to all her friends who are responding with photos, letters and holiday greetings. My sister-in-law is absolutely thrilled hearing from both. The skylight frame is a wonderful gift for everyone and especially for those who have lost their ability to independently keep in touch with family and friends.

Since this was a gift from my daughter, I was not aware of what she had paid for our skylight.When I found out that this frame was $159.00 and only warranted for two years I could not believe this.I have been sending pictures to my wife’s skylight believing them to be delivered to her and deleting them from my phone.I am not sure how many photos are being held by my skylight or for how long. The only way to restore her skylight and recover those “pending” photos is to buy another skylight for $150.00.Great business!!!!
