Do not recommend! I tried them on the day they arrived, walked just a few feet in the house and almost fell. The front buckled under and thrust me forward. They are too light weight, maybe that's why they are titled "Slim". I bought these because I have this brand, purchased in south America and those I loved. So when I saw this brand available from Nordstrom, I bought 2 pairs. I tried the 2nd pair and same thing happened, the front buckled under and I almost fell forward again (I'm not prone to falling). I will not wear these from Nordstrom and advise the Nordstrom buyer to drop from you product line. I am a long time Nordstrom customer and this was the first purchase where I am not satisfied. They are dangerous!

Absolutely love the color but that was as far as it went! I find the souls to be extremely thin and narrower towards the toes. When walking on carpeting, the front of theses failed flops turned under more than once almost causing me to fall. I compared them to a less expensive but more substantial black flip flop I already own. I normally wear a 40 but for some odd reason I had to buy a 41 which is slightly too large. Very disappointed overall.

I have several pairs of Hawaiiana flip-flops, purchased over the years in various colors. Had to have this pair in Rust/Metallic Copper, which is absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately this pair, for some reason, does not stay on my foot as well as the older ones. Parts of the rubber sole fold under sometimes as I walk, which is concerning and potentially unsafe. I wonder if it could cause me to fall. I will continue to wear them for now, especially around the house, but with great caution.

I’ve never hated a pair of shoes more than this one and I never thought I’d say so about a pair of flip flops. The quality , as some of the other reviews mention, has definitely gotten poorer. I have a 10 year old pair that is still going strong because it was built very sturdy. This one, on the other hand, is so flimsy that they actually bend while I’m walking causing me to trip all the time. Ive has $5 pairs that have been better quality and more comfortable. I wish I could return these but unfortunately, they’re used at this point so I can’t. I bought them on sale thinking they were a good deal but looking back, I wouldn’t have taken them if they were free. Save yourself and do not buy these.
Hands down, the best flip-flop out there! These are worth spending the $20-30 on because they are actually comfortable! A bonus tip- if you have narrow feet like me these are the perfect fit. My feet are much too narrow for Birkenstocks or cheap flops. They always look silly on me. Havaina’s also last a lot longer & have really cute color options!
Bought these for my daughter. They fit perfectly - she’s a 7-7.5 and I got the 37/38. She said they’re comfortable and I felt like the rubber was softer and definitely better quality than some. But I didn’t order myself a pair because for the same price point, the reef luxe ones are way better in my opinion. These don’t have any wedge, they’re just a straight flat bottom and weren’t nearly as slim or flexible as the reef ones. They’re shaped mostly like any other ‘cheap’ flip flop, just made of better rubber. I prefer the true slim line and feminine look the reef has. But these were still a good buy for my daughter since I got them on sale!

According to the old sizing chart I wore size 39/40 (size 8 shoe), but now I wear a size 37/38. Not realizing the sizing chart changed, I ordered my old size, but they were too large. Then I ordered the new size. Not only are the new sandal straps about 1/2" longer, but the piece that connects to the footbed at the front of the sandal is 1/4" longer than the old version. When you match the old and new versions of the footbeds to each other the new version is 1/4" longer. So disappointed in Havaianas, I feel like the quality has definitely gone down hill. This is the 2nd pair that have just broke out of the blue on me, as I’m on the beach in the hot sand. I had to bring my feet running back to the car. I have barely even worn my newest pair. It’s too bad, because they are simple and look good but the quality is dollar store
I’ve worn Havaiana for YEARS. The last pair I bought was in 2007 and I’m still wearing them. I ordered a back-up pair knowing at some point I was going to need new ones. The new pair I received from Nordstrom was definitely not the same. Not the same quality, not the same size (even though printed on the bottom of each the sizes are the same), the newer pair are about a half inch longer. The quality has declined and I’m disappointed. If you’re new to the brand you won’t know the difference but if you’re a long time Havaiana wearer, you will notice a distinct difference and it’s not a good one.
