I've been using MyProtein for years now & should have done a review a long time ago, but here goes. These guys always have great "Protein" products. I'v tried other brands, but I always come back. These guys put out quality Protein Powders & when you compare them to the competition, it quickly becomes evident that MyProtein is superior. Shipping is always quick & this company is well organized. They run pretty good deals regularly too. Maybe they would consider "discount-deals" for volume purchases for loyal customers? Or maybe even employ "happy-hour" discount-purchase times once or twice a week for loyal customers? i'v tried CASEIN, WHEY-ISO, OAT FLOUR (..wish they'd bring that back), CREATINE, BCAA's & it's all been great quality. I have never been disappointed ... MoreI've been using MyProtein for years now & should have done a review a long time ago, but here goes. These guys always have great "Protein" products. Protein powder, as the name suggests, is a source of protein which could be used in order to increase our daily protein intake. The upside of it is the fact that it contains as much or even more protein than a whole meal. In this review, I will share with you my experience with this product which might help you decide on whether you should or shouldn’t buy this Myprotein product. Like every other gym enthusiast that wants to put on a ton of muscle, I have documented myself on which is the best way to achieve my goal, in fitness, and every video that I watched (my source of information was YouTube) said that I need to eat enough protein, so that my muscles will have enough resources to recover from the teardown. Yes, you can gain muscle just by eating whole meals, but for a person that has eating disorders, it can be pretty hard. After watching a lot content creators, which promoted this brand, I thought that I would give this protein powder a try. Let us begin with the downsides. When it comes to the quality, I would say that it depends on what kind of person you are. If you are a picky person that, let’s say, takes the olives off the pizza, then this product might not be for you. If you don’t own a mixer, the powder will not break up properly. You might feel some solid parts as you are drinking the shake. Also, if you don’t drink it fast enough, a foam will form on the surface, which in my opinion, is not the kind of foam that a person would like. For me, the shake tastes a little bit too sweet (I bought the chocolate flavor). On the other side, given the fact that it has 24g of protein per serving and it is casein protein (which is more expensive than whey protein), I can say that it is a fair priced supplement. If you do the math, you will find out that you are paying 0,6 dollars on one serving, which compared to a normal meal is very cheap. I do, also, have to give credit for the shipment. It took only 1 day for it to arrive. In conclusion, the product does its job and has very convenient price, but if you are the kind of person that has its obsession on taste and texture, then you might need to look somewhere else.

I'm generally happy with the product itself. It mixes adequately and tastes fine. If you mix with 300ml liquid make sure you have a decent sized shaker as it bulks up quite a lot. The only negative thing I have to mention (and this applies ro several products, not just this one) is that the resealable packs don't work very well. Most are almost impossible to get to resealable and sometimes one side of the resealable strip will separate from the bag when you open it. Don't let that put you off the products though, it's a minor niggle. Goes Well With: Skimmed milk.

Pretty good!
7 December 2022

Whenever I first try this protein powder I’m not going to lie, I was a little disappointed. After trying out MyProtein’s salted caramel way protein flavor, I had high expectations of it. Unfortunately, it undelivered. That being said though, The chocolate smooth still taste pretty good! I have found that unlike other casine proteins, this one requires extra water in order to get a smooth, cream like texture. It also requires a lot of mixing, as it is prone to easily clump together. It can be noticeable at times for sure, as often times you feel like your eating lumps of powder, rather then a smooth chocolate. In terms of effectiveness, yeah, it works. I have found that after I eat this my appetite is curbed for hours, and it’s perfect at stoping a sweat tooth. Solid slow-release drinkable protein
21 March 2023

I'm happy to get this back in my regimen; I prefer whey after a workout and casein generally before bed for slow-release/-digestion. This tastes great and the chocolate honestly suits me as a dessert substitute, which is an extra benefit. My partner finds it a bit chalky, but I don't mind. The one thing I've noticed is that I seem to have strange dreams more often while having it just before sleeping, so perhaps I need to space it out a bit more beforehand. Regardless, it's a tasty, solid product that I intend to keep using.

The most Horrible taste ever!
10 July 2023

I regret buying the Cookies & Cream flavour which was heavily discounted. Do NOT recommend it at all. The lingering aftertaste of artificial sweeteners is nauseating. I tried to mix it with other foods to save it from going to waste but it is still terrible with the prominent sweet taste which is not a pleasant sweet taste. I do not understand how other people like cookies & cream. This is with all honesty, if someone recommends or says cookies & cream taste good, I never look at any recommendation of theirs; it is a terrible act to mislead people! Goes Well With: Nothing

Very good

I like this protein. I use it for a quick pre-bed snack and sometime in my breakfast porridge oats. It has a more powdery taste than the Impact whey but after a few goes I'm getting used to it and actually quite like it. When I'm using it for my porridge I find you need to use more milk/water than if you were using Impact whey as it thickens up quite a bit. Similarly I once tried to make a batch of 3 scoops of this to last a day. So I made it and put it in the fridge for later. Came back to find I had made Angel Delight. It was nice. You could definitely use this to make a high protein pudding. I haven't had much time to test the effectiveness of this but overall protein amount is the main factor rather than the protein type (or so I heard) so I expect this to be ... MoreI like this protein. I also like the very short list of ingredients and lack of soya of any description. The unflavoured is basically just caesin protein, no additives or anything which is great. Worse thing ever!

While I made a huge mistake buying unflavoured due to some advice by a friend. This has to be the most weirdest and unusual form of protein I've ever had, from the taste to the texture is just very unusual being unflavoured I have mixed it with various flavours such as orange juice, cranberry juice even water and squash and yet it has an after taste that is undescribable, as for the texture the best thing to do is gulp it down as quickly as possible and hope it doesn't hang around to much. Personal experience it made me feel a bit sicky after but that could be cause I down it to help deal with everything I don't know. All I can say is give it ago and make up your own mind for me I won't be buying anymore and this is not a bad reflection on my protein products cause ... MoreWhile I made a huge mistake buying unflavoured due to some advice by a friend. Worst flavor
18 December 2022

I've been using this casein for a long time. The chocolate by far is the best flavor. Mixes okay, is pretty thick (it's casein so that's how it is), and is great to make protein pudding or cookies with. I also use it for smoothies and blends well with greens. I branched out and got the cookies and cream flavor (I have had it once before). Something was definitely changed in the flavor because it is by far the WORST tasting protein I have experienced. It tastes like someone took 6 month stale oreo's, smashed them into dirt, ground them up, let them sit again for 6 months, then made protein out of them. It is terrible. I see why it was a little cheaper. I wish I had stuck with my normal pick of chocolate as now I have 5lbs of horrible tasting protein to finish up. ... MoreI've been using this casein for a long time. Worst taste/texture on the market
28 November 2022

I didn't really believe the reviews when I read them and convinced myself to order this caesin because it was so inexpensive. Plus, I had a great experience with MyProtein's Impact Protein, so I thought that it was just a fad. Unfortunately, I was wrong. This caesin is barely edible. The vanilla tastes mostly of sugar water with a hint of vanilla extract. The strawberry and cream tastes like sugar water with strawberry extract dissolved in it (in the worst way possible). Both tastes entirely artificial. Not only that, but the texture was just horrid. One scoop (23g of protein, mind you) mixed with 14 ounces of water (they recommend 7-10oz) produced a caesin shake that had the texture of chalk.
