I used it to witelessly attach my godox flash to an end of a monopodsony hotshoe will not fully lock with this product, its not fully secure if you move it from side to side. but perhaps its not the way it was meant to be used.

I bought one to get a more secure mount for my Sony fit flashguns but they dont fit and click into this mount, so Im going for old-school screw thread closing mounts. Might work with other brand flashes?

My Sony camera has the multi-Interface shoe and the flashes do not lock-in securely with this mount. I was able to grind off a little bit of the top rails and now it's working great. There should be a little bit more space between the locking foot and the slid rails. I am using this mount on a SmallRig wooden NATO side handle to keep the weight from my flash and modifiers off the camera's fragile hot shoe.

Needed this for a lighting setup with a grip. Works perfectly. Well made.
Lock works well. Prevents things slipping out of the cold shoe.Stops my monitor or radio mic's accidentally falling off camera.
This cold shoe was always a pain to use—pulling out my flash was tough from day one. After 10 months, it broke, and now my Profoto flash is stuck in it. Not impressed with the build quality at all!
