Bought this because you can get another adapter on top to use the fx3 xlr handle. Works well with my a7iv.

Bought this because you can get another adapter on top to use the fx3 xlr handle. Works well with my a7iv.
for wildlife or night photography where you like to have the camera vertical I have added a plate on side to do that. As tilting a ball head or mounting to a Gimbal head mount may not work. Also solid mount for a small screen if doing video work.
Nice durable cage, quick and easy to install/uninstall on A7SIII. I bought it mainly to shoot vertical on a tripod and gimbal. It's nice to have other attachment points available in the future if needed though.
It's light and functional. Full cage is heavier and not friendly for photography. I feel like this is the best one for hybrid shooters especially when you are looking for a go-to cage.

Priced well and the the 2nd attachment point gives good rigidity to the half-cage.
I am impressed at how they created this cagethe 2nd locking screw is simply so smart(ok personally I had a few issues with one screw being a bit tight, but that's a detail)and love also the arca swiss plate system at the bottom that just works perfectly with the dji rs3finally having a magnetic screwdriver at the bottom is perfectI wonder how I could get excited that much by a cage ;), but it is work well done! Wish all accessories had a designer that dedicated.
