Fits on 15mm rails. Supports lenses. Does what it needs to do. This support in particular should be used with 'taller' setups. If you lower it too much, the bottom will stick out, potentially imbalancing your rig if you set it down. There are shorter supports from SmallRig and others should you need them.

I love SmallRig products. Most of what I buy from them works very well. Unfortunately, this particular lightweight support falls short for me. Literally. I've tested this support on all of my lenses and all of my cameras, however, no matter where the Y bracket comes in contact with the length of the lens barrel, one side of the rubber padding does not make full contact, thus not giving any of my lenses full support from both sides of the Y bracket. I've tried reversing it but then I discover the same occurs on the other Y bracket arm. Unfortunately I had to return this item.

I bought this for a makeshift rig so that I could attach a loose anamorphic lens to my build without attaching it directly to the lens. It works well! However, if the anamorphic was any larger, this may not have given it proper support.It feels very secure when attached to rods, and has a great vertical range. It will get in the way of a bottom mounted mic, but that can be worked around. Overall a good purchase.
