Purchased these as a gift for my road biking mom. She's worn them to train for her upcoming 100 mile bike race and says they are so comfortable! No blisters and they keep her warm during her cold outdoor rides. They're a win!

Purple eclipse, I back ordered two pairs because I liked the colors. After waiting for several weeks, they shipped me a color scheme completely different from what I ordered. The socks I received are not even represented as a color option. Returned. Waste of time. False advertising is the worst!

I have the Alpine Blue pair and I love them. They're an extra pop of colour to my hiking get ups. The colours do appear to lighten when put on and the knit stretches. Very cushy in the toes and heel that protect my feet when hiking. A little too cushy for some of my snugger shoes.Very durable; I have another pair similar in red from a previous year that are still going strong. I have found them a little too warm on some hikes in the summer. Fabric around my big toe is the first area to start to wear out. #SmartwoolLove

These socks have great patterns! I wear them with my hiking boots, pulling them up over my leggings. Stepped through some water and kept walking; my feet stayed fairly dry.
Santa left a pair of Smartwool sock for everyone in my family this year. We all love the softness and warmth, plus the variety of designs means everyone got something that fit their activities. I hope Santa makes this a new tradition for my family!
Been solely a Darn Tough gal, but now rate SmartWools definitely side by side w/slight advantage of being slightly cushier. Ordered these light cushion & medium cushion. Both are great investments. Machine wash and hang dry to prevent any possible shrinkage.
My shoe size is 6.5, which is on the border of sock size S and M. I have relatively narrow feet, so I chose size small. And they fit perfectly!They provide the right amount of warmth and support, yet my feet do not get sweaty in them.Another thing I like about these socks is that the ankle part has just the right amount of tightness. They stay in place perfectly, but does not put pressure around my ankles.
I am not sure how a product can be any better designed and manufactured. They are comfortable, fit well, durable and stylish! I have never had a blister with a Smartwool sock... just ensure your boots are the right size. I have tried the medium weight but find the light weight are more comfortable for a wider range of outdoor temperatures and just as durable.Highly recommended.
These socks are some of my favorites that are comfortable, cute, and durable all in one. I wear boots pretty much every day in the winter and it is tough to find crew socks that aren't so thin they wear holes in them within a few months, or so thick that I can barely get my boots on.
I have worn SmartWool for decades. The only warm socks I ever wear for winter. Now, at 60, the leg openings are all the same size, too small. I ordered a size up (L) in hopes of getting larger opening. No dice, only longer foot. Can't even roll down to ankle, still too tight. Sorry to have to leave your product. I will miss you.
