Excellent socks for warm weather activities. I tend to wear thicker Merino wool socks and to me these feel quite thin and light, but that's why I got them. Build quality is excellent (although not quite on par with darn tough), comfort is excellent and so far they are as smell-resistant as most of my other Marino-wool based socks.

I have been using darn tough socks for awhile, but they now have major durability issues for me. I decided to try Smartwool once again, and was pleasantly surprised! These socks are it, just get a pair or three and thank me later. I trail run, hike, wear them around the house, use them for, well, everything. Great socks!

I am in love with the zero cushion mid crew sock. Your feet won't sweat in these due to the excellent moisture wicking properties of the Smartwool blend. Great for hiking or walking about town.
I use these socks on every hike. I aboslutely love then in every way. They are super comfortable, good looking and are so great at keeping my feet cool. These are my go to socks!
Work/walk/travel. Honestly, these are keepers. Kind to the toes. Mild to the nose. Quick dry - wash & wear road warriors. Breathability is great in warmer temps. In winter try them as liners under thicker woolies or even 2 pair doubled-up. Their versatile good looks dial into any wardrobe. No question, full or target cushion merinos will have their merits. But as classic all-rounders, these lean machines may be the ones to beat. That’s just IMHO. Best give your feet the final say.
These are super comfy and seem to do a good job of fighting odour so are suitable for when you might need to wear the same pair of socks multiple days. The height of the cuff is also nice for those with shorter legs and who find full crew socks a bit hight. I'm tempted to buy a few more pairs.
Let me start by saying I absolutely love Smartwool socks, but these ones are no good! There is a seam that sits directly underneath your toes. I tried them in un my house and within 10 steps I was pulling them off looking for the culprit. Very comfortable. I looked at my other Smartwool running socks and none of them have this. Hard to believe someone put these one and said, “yep that feels good.”I’ll be returning these and will now inspect socks a bit more thoroughly.
Very comfortable, run slightly small. They are the correct size but I'm a true 10.5 and ordered a large, I would have anticipated having just a bit more room. I'd buy them again but sizing is the only thing keeping from a 5-star.
Love this, but we need mid-crew zero cushion in a black/grey variant. In general, I mid-crew is the best height sock and hope to see more in a neutral colorway with zero cushion.
