I recently purchased the 50's Style Variable Temperature Kettle and I am so glad I did! This kettle looks great and works even better! The outside is a beautiful cream color, and the inside is stainless steel, so it's very easy to keep clean. The variable temperature settings allow me to make the perfect cup of tea every time. I also love that it has an auto shut-off feature, so I don't have to worry about leaving it on. Overall, I'm very happy with this product and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality kettle.

My son bought this kettle for us a few months ago. It looks great and has good features with one fault, and it’s a very annoying fault. Each time we press the lid to release to open it doesn’t work. You always have to press it at least 3 times and often up to eight times. I have tried different areas to press eg on the corners in the middle etc but this makes no difference. Unfortunately my son didn’t keep the receipt or I would return it.We have a smeg stove and a smeg toaster (which throws out toast onto the ground when pops up lol).

Wish you could choose your own chime and set the volume. Love the colour. Overall very happy with the purchase.

I’m really happy I bought this kettle from appliances online, it makes a big difference to the taste of my herbal teas now they can be steeped at lower temperatures, and I like the fact that the sound effects can be turned off easily and back on, dependent on if the rest of my young household is up or not. Easily toggle between ideal coffee, black tea and herbal tea temperatures. The kettle also has the keep warm function which is ideal for when my wider family comes around for smokos and I'm doing other things around the house. It's a much quieter boil than my previous Breville kettle.

Had for 2 years, you can see the discolouration in the grey rubber, which happens to all kettles, my friend has the black one with grey rubber handle. The back is fine, the front is exposed to sunlight through the window in the first hour in the morning. Tried all cleaning products, but will not go back to its original colour.Once marked by a splash of curry for EG, you cannot get the mark off the while kettles.The white shine turns less gloss over time & more matt looking.It is a little heavier than most kettles.Around the top, over time of the constant heat the paint flecks come off.It looks good overall but easily damaged and for this price, not expected, would not buy again.
Great product, perfect gift for my tea loving wife, who also loves Pastel Blue...Apparently different Tea leaves need different temperatures (omg srslt right?), and kettles need to do this now, low and behold this kettle does! And apparently according to my wife it does it well. Great gift idea for any Tea drinker! I now have a happy wife, so I am happy too
I had received this product as a birthday present last year from my partner. I own many of the smaller smeg appliances and wanted this one in the set. The pastel colours are gorgeous. The kettle does a great job at heating up the water at set temperatures and I love the "keep warm" feature but I find the sound when turning on the kettle and when its finished is an on/off thing. Also I find it to be louder that previous kettles I have owned. Another down side is the water measure window has labels to indicate how many cups of water are in there but that seems to be rubbing away and I am not sure how as we dont really rub that part with our hands. Overall though, it is a cute kettle and if this one stops working, I'd probably buy another one.
I was so excited to receive this kettle! Unfortunately the water window constantly contains bubbles/moisture preventing the water level from being seen/read unless completely filled to the top with water. Warranty was directed to SMEG to which you receive their standard response that the issue is normal. Rubbish! I have never experienced this issue with any other known brand before. Very disappointed. I will not recommend nor purchase anything SMEG in the future
Aesthetically it’s a stunning piece on the kitchen bench, I have received so many compliments from visitors. Operation wise, it’s quiet, boils quickly and is sturdy without being too heavy.Definitely a sensible idea with being able to open the lid with a gentle press!Well done Smeg, I will be purchasing the rest of the range.
