Have owned many dishwashers before so know what to expect. This Smeg is by far the worst we have ever owned. Very flimsy construction and very poor lower rack layout. Door sticks and the machine is very noisy (compared to others on the market). For the money, this is very disappointing. I would strongly suggest buying another brand or model, and avoid this one.

Have owned many dishwashers before so know what to expect. This Smeg is by far the worst we have ever owned. Very flimsy construction and very poor lower rack layout. After our old dishwasher starting having issues, we knew it was time to replace it. We had put up with crap for years so very excited to get a new one. We selected this model based on the three promotions running (August 2021); 5-year warranty, 3mths of dishwashing liquid, and the one that absolutely pushed us over - up to $1000 cashback. Well, the first two offers have been accepted by smeg which are great. The third, and the biggest reason we selected this model is a bit of a trick. SMEG won't let the customer redeem it as it states that the amount back is at the discretion of AO at time of sale, so it's not really a cashback offer at all, the price is the price. Just saying.The installation was great. The guy was lovely, courteous and skilled. Can't fault it or AO themselves, just miffed the promo was a bit of a con.
Great looking appliance, efficient washing and very quiet, I needed to check it was on. The installation involved some cabinetry being dismantled and then reassembled, which the installation guys did no problem at all. Delivered at the indicated time, great communication and updates leading up to delivery from the delivery team. Would definitely recommend Appliances Online to others and I’m very happy so far with my new Smeg dishwasher
Absolute trash. Flimsy build with a door that constantly jams shut. Layout of lower tray is awful. Avoid this dishwasher at all costs. Waste of money.
