The cheapest and nastiest appliance I have ever bought. After the first use, the waffles stuck badly. After the second use the green light cover disintegrated and the steam melted all the lettering on the front panel.

My waffle maker arrived promptly and in excellent condition. It is a very effective appliance. It is not as solid as i thought it would be, but it is by no means flimsy. It is a sturdy machine. I like that I can control the darkness of the waffles. I wish it had a clasp to keep the appliance firmly closed during cooking.

We finally used it after a few days of buying it and it just heated and did 1 lot of waffles then it died! And wouldn’t heat up I called Harris scarfs to see what I could do so I returned item to get a new one from fountain gate and they didn’t have one even tho I spoke to someone the day before and was told they had some in stock.

Didnt even get to use it. I turned it on and once started to heat up sparked and turned off the power to my house!! Returned as I was too scared to use. After I read the reviews and saw it wasnt a one off. Needs to be pulled from the shelves.
It doesn't take up too much bench space if you want to leave it out. We found the recipe mix made nowhere near enough for 12 waffles as stated. The waffles came out quite tasty but we did need to leave them longer to get them to brown up which meant they were a little dry and hard. Probably take a few tries to get everything right. On the whole it's a good little machine and the mixture didn't stick at all which is excellent.
One star even not worth????We bought it on 25th Nov 2022,used it just 2 times & second time while preparing waffles it stopped?? Assume, heating element burnt.Very bad experience, will be taking the burnt unit to the nearest Harris Scarf shop to get my money back. After going to the nearest Harris scarf shop, I will let other customers about HS's after sales response. Very disappointed.
Bought 2 -3 weeks ago and have used it 3 times. 3rd time it shut itself mid cook. Couldn't turn on again. Was making chaffles too so wasted the rest of my mixture.Aside from that, takes a long time to cook, way past it's green light indicator. The steam is crazy borderline dangerous and the quality of the actual maker is very cheap and plastic.
Stopped working after about 1/2 a dozen times. Not worth the money. Use it about once a month so not overused. Don’t waste your time.
Barely cooked the waffles on highest heat setting. We left some in while we ate, we forgot about them so they were cooking for at least 20-30 minutes they were perfectly cooked in middle and barely cooked around the edges. After the first clean with just warm water and a soft cloth some of the black writing on the front had come off. Also noticed a couple of chips out of some plastic parts.Just a complete piece of trash.
I bought this yesterday. First use sees us still waiting for the waffles to cook after 40 minutes. Absolute rubbish. It will be going back to Harris Scarfe tomorrow.
