Honestly really great shoes. I have between standard and wide feet and at first I thought they were too narrow but after the first 2 uses, they loosened up a bit. I don't run more than 5 miles at a time currently but even then I have always struggled with shin splints and calf cramps and these shoes helped a lot. Yes, most every running shoe needs breaking in so expect that foot pain but remember to walk or jog through it and apply pressure. Wear running socks, they prevent moisture and provide cushion to avoid blisters and if you know you are prone to blisters, wear a band-aid for the 1st and 2nd use. Do dynamic stretches before a run and static stretches after a run. Overall, these shoes are lightweight, very cute, super breathable, snug with a lot of room around ... I first tried the nimbus series 25 and I absolutely loved it. I use them for running occasionally but mostly I use them for work. I stand for 12-14 hours a day during my shifts, with my flat feet you can imagine that gets pretty painful very fast. I find these differences work well for me, now I tend to use the 25 when I know I will stand for longer periods and the 26s when I will be ... Overall, I am a complete convert to ASICS! 55 yo marathon runner who just ran her 18th marathon at Disney World (Dopey Challenge) in the Nimbus 25 after wearing Hokas for years. ASICS Nimbus are the superior shoe. They are not clunky at all and I feel faster when I run in them. I al also a physician and I wear them for overnight shifts. My feet feel fantastic in this shoes. The Nimbus-26 are an improvement from the Nimbus-25. Same amazing support without the pillowy, slightly bouncy feel of the Nimbus-25. The 26’s are incredibly comfortable and I feel even faster in them without sacrificing the comfort of a more supportive shoe. Plenty of room across my metatarsals without looking bullky. In summary I highly recommend the ASICS Nimbus 26 for distance runners and for all healthcare workers who work long shifts. You won’t think about your feet at all! They are truly amazing and a substantial improvement from the 25! Thank you ASICS!!!.
I need a comfortable shoe for working on concrete floors 10 hours a day. Nimbus 26 cushioning felt great on my feet. However, I underpronate, i.e. supinate, so the outer edges of my heels and outer balls of my feet hit first while running or walking. I purchased the Nimbus 26 based upon Asics’ website recommendation for underpronation. I expected my feet to feel neutral in the shoe while standing such that the inner and outer edges of my feet are level. However, while standing in these shoes, the inner part of my feet (the arches) were tipping upward at an angle rather than sitting level. The fact that my arches are tipping upward exacerbates underpronation, rather than provide needed support. Also, the shoe laces are too short for “heel lock lacing” to prevent heel ... Since I loved them so much, I went ahead and bought the 26’s and they’re… not good. For me at least. I’ve worn them on three runs so far and on all three my pinky toes have gone numb in the first two miles. It’s not a size issue. The length and width are perfect and the same as the 25’s. If anything, the 26’s are a touch bigger in length. But I believe the problem is either the new lacing structure or the firmness in the forefoot or a combination of the two. The new lacing structure puts added pressure onto the top of the foot and no matter how loose I make the laces, I can feel the laces on the top of the foot. I’ve never even given ... MoreUgh. I complained, sent in a Warranty form and I was able to get credit from ASICS for another pair of these sneakers (for free). While that was OK, I think ASICS needs to improve the material they use on these shoes. I continue to wear the original pair but I had to spend more money and buy shoe armor patches so that the holes in the sneakers would not get bigger. The new outsole has plenty of grip in wet weather, as well as gravel like paths. One of my favorite features is the integrated tongue that stays put, and the heel cup with cushion and great material usage that will not rub or create any friction points. 10/10 would recommend this shoe to literally anyone and everyone! If I could have one pair of shoes for the rest of my life, it would be the Gel Nimbus 26 hands down, and I can't wait to get one in every color!

Was running in ON cloudrunner and knees figured out real quick they were way too firm. I decided on these for extra cushion and first impressions is they were definitely that. Very comfy but also stable. However I did not do my research about the breathability. It's summer here now and even just wearing these casually they are wayyy too warm. Would definitely be a winter shoe for me..however. today I ran a 10k and right before 5k I started to feel a hot spot under my left toes. It continued to build to the point I was wincing and curling my toes to try and stop the stabbing pain. By the time I got to the parking lot where my car ... I find this extremely helpful as my ankles tend to become unstable after a few hours of running, so this new, simple feature has been welcomed. The most significant changes are the firmer midsole, helping them become considerably more responsive than the Nimbus 25, but also keeping a very similar soft feeling.Apart from those improvements, overall, it’s a very similar shoe from the Gel-Nimbus 25, and if you enjoyed the previous model, you will certainly enjoy this one. It feels good to run in and it’s a much firmer shoe and up there as one of my top pics for longer runs.
