This table feels like origami with wood and metal (and some plastic). Truly folds and unfolds with 1 fluid motion, however there is a tiny plastic lock you have to slip in and out of place in order to begin the "single action" folding. I am not a fan of paying $400 for some plastic locking bits since they seem prone to wearing out much faster than the solid wood and steel/aluminum mechanisms. But Snow Peak has a lifetime warranty to ease those worries. Naturally, this table pairs perfectly with the low-back "Take!" chair to create a good desktop working space and a dining/game space for 2 people. Very quick to set up and take down which is nice when setting up many other items. It shows water and sun damage despite being somewhat careful but the supports and opening/closing action is still functioning as new. I think this is an adequate size for 4 or as an accessory table at a camp site. We’ve also used this in our backyard and craft room as an accessory table when needed year-round. I wish the carry cover had a little more protection and the finish on the bamboo was more robust. Would buy again on sale.

I bought the snow peak single action table at mossjaw on November 14th at a 20% discount.I bought this for using my laptop comfortably while camping or traveling.And I love it could be installed so easily even in my living room when I need it urgently.This table is very good that it's sturdy, quick to set up, and has a stabilizer so it doesn't wobble.

Easy to carry and setup, folds into a very compact space. It is very stable once it is locked into place. Great table for 4 people, but would recommend a bigger table for 5 or more people.

I love this table so much that I bought a second one. I have them set up in my home office in an "L". They are beautiful and the perfect height for a computer.
Good table for pretty much anytime and anywhere! I bought this to use it as a portable mahjong table when I go camping, and it is the perfect size for my set!
The table is very sturdy and I use it permanently on my porch. When camping, I will just fold it and load into the car. A truly well thought out and exercised construction. The medium table has generous place for 2 and is possible to use for 4 (one on each sides). The "bag"/cover is put on top before folding the table and I use it as a cover on the porch to keep the surface clean for usage. I store the folded cover in the wedge of the diagonal bar supporting the table - very practical. The cover seems to be made from regular nylon: well made, but will likley not take much abbration when the wrapped table scratches on concrete at the garage etc. If the cover would be from ballistic nylon or Cordura and had some way to more securely attach it on the OPEN table (to use ... MoreThe table is very sturdy and I use it permanently on my porch. This thing is baller. I?ve had other, not entirely cheap, versions of this type of table and they don?t compare to this table. The set up is instantaneous and is as stable as I?ve found. Really impressive. I use it as a laptop desk and it is luxurious and barely shakes when you?re typing, which is hard to come by. Packs down to take negligible space in the car and the cover/case are the clincher.Fine gear.
I now have two tables. I use them for desks for myself, and my kids. The best thing about these is that you can also put them end to end for dinner parties for extra people. I might even order a third.
