I love this drink! The ginger gives it a warm zing but it's still hot chocolate. I don't need the full amount to enjoy it either.
I love hot chocolate but hate overly sweet and heavily processed products. This hot choc gets 5 stars as it’s an all rounder for me with beautiful flavours, textures and bouquet. I make mine with coconut milk, though have been just as happy to have with a heavy splash of organic vanilla too. Perfect for that after dinner subtle sweet flavour without the heaviness of a sweet. It would also make a decadent choc chia pudding or choc brownie instead of plain cacao.
If you haven't tried this, it's an absolute must! It's much more economical buying the big bag and I put a heaped teaspoon into my coffee of a morning. As a teacher, this has kept me sane this term and the bag lasted the whole term, too, which is a huge saving. I have, as promised, the energy of a toddler (and am still waiting for the wisdom of the sensei, but hey, I'll wait!). This product also doesn't have that weird chalky taste that some other hot chocolates have, either. It's delicious and a treat first thing in the morning. Highly recommended!
When I first read the ingredients list, I was expecting something quite unpalatable. So I was VERY surprised at how delicious and refined the flavours are. Honestly, their packaging really does sum it up exactly as it is... "Quietly sweet, dark cocoa and vibrant ginger zest". If those flavour notes appeal to you... then you will LOVE this hot choc.
Love this hot chocolate , first few cups did take a bit to get used to the taste . Love it now , not too sweet .
