When I smelled this lotion, I let my husband smell me an I said “Doesn’t this smell just like Baccarat rouge 540?” He bought me the perfume for Christmas last year, so he knows exactly what it smells like. He smelled my arm an was like “It actually does” so I was tickled to find this lotion so I could pair it with my 540 perfume and hair mist. I give this lotion 4 stars instead of 5 because it doesn’t sink that well into the skin. It has squalene, collagen, good ingredients within the formula, it just doesn’t sink too well into the skin an leaves kinda a white cast. Other than that, I love it. Will I buy the big jar? Depends on when I’m finished with the mini lol. I think this body butter is just a great add on if you love baccarat 540 lol their are many other better hydrating lotions out there, I just had to have this because of the scent lol. Best advice using this? Right after your shower when your skin is damp. That’s the best time to get this lotion to cooperate lol

Hate to be a hater, but compelled to leave this review. I am not someone who is particularly sensitive to scents. I actually like scented products, am obsessed with fragrances, etc. But the Sol de Janeiro products are so over-the-top scented that I regret putting them on my skin. It didn’t quite have the sheen of the Bum Bum, but it definitely made my skin smooth, so, if you like the scent, it is probably a good buy (and why I gave it two stars). Another unbelievable win

I did not think that Sol De Janeiro could come out with a better scent than their Cheirosa '62 scent (bum bum) but they came out with the Bom Dia scent and I loved it even more and then they come out with this scent and I am just shocked! The scent and the consistency of this cream is just everything I want in a body cream, unbelievable scent and thick but not too thick (I mean like Rihanna's body lotion thick), it's just perfect. It hydrates the skin perfectly without leaving a greasy residue on your body that takes forever to sink in, like the Rihanna one, and leaves your skin with this beautiful scent that lingers on even the next day. I've only used the cream a few times as I got a sample with one of my orders and immediately bought the full size and body mist so I can't really comment on if it does actually do anything long term for the skin like it promises but even if it doesn't live up to that claim I'd still love it for the other perks it brings. They are more than enough for me! Now I'm just waiting to see what their next scent will be! And I really hope that they make more products with the BeIja Flor scent like shower gel, hand cream, foot cream and just every product they have I'd love to get in this scent and the Bom Dia scent. They need to bring out their usual products with these scents in them!!

OK, this is going to be a little long, but I want to be very clear. When I first got the product, I was extremely disappointed because to me it has absolutely no fragrance. I have been using Sol de Jeneiro scents (perfume / body spray / Ibum cream for years now and LOVE everything about it .. and get daily compliments from my customers(bartender ) about how good I smell… so needless to say, I was extremely disappointed that this product has absolutely no sense to me.The first time I used it I was not very happy with it as it went on very white, and didn’t seem to Rub in … I was amazed, however, 30 minutes later. BEST LOTION EVER

This product is hands down the most amazing lotion I’ve ever used. I use it every night after showering and it leaves my skin feeling so incredibly soft without feeling too oily. It is a very thick but works into the skin very easily. While I love having moisturized skin, nothing compares to how amazing this scent is and how long it lasts. I apply it at night and wake up in the morning still smelling it on my skin. I constantly catch whiffs of it throughout the day and I did it smells so delicious. I personally mix this with another unscented lotion (trying to ration this amazing cream to stretch my dollar since I’m balling on a budget) and I still find the scent to be as strong as when I use it on its own. Great for Acanthosis Nigricans

Hi there! I don‘t usually write reviews but if someone happens to read this with diabetes, you‘ll love this. Not many things work for my Acanthosis Nigricans, and most things irritate it and make me rub the skin raw. This makes those patches of skin feel so soft just like all the skin surrounding those areas. I do think if you use this though for skin like this, you need to be freshly showered and those areas of skin need to be pat dry before you apply the product. It really locks in the moisture if you do it like that, and of course dead skin build up happens daily and makes those areas of skin smell, and you don‘t want that mixing with the nice smell of this lotion. But seriously!!! Try this! It‘s not going to lighten it up very much but few products can actually ... MoreHi there! Lovely scent, but needs to be diluted.

I had used this line’s Bum Bum cream, and I loved the texture and results, but the smell is too potent. Same experience with their other products, so I was worried the fragrance of this cream would be too much. I was SO pleasantly surprised by the lovely scent! It is quite prominent, but I mix it with a fragrance free lotion or oil to dilute the scent. I get compliments every time I use this, and everyone wants to know what perfume I use. I’m not taking a star of for the strong fragrance since it’s so beautiful and easy to dilute - I’m taking a star off because it pills and leaves skin looking a bit dull. When I used it without an additional moisturizer mixed in, the cream would pill and flake throughout the day, leaving my skin looking dry and flaky. I started using the small size in the Beja Flor Elasti Cream in April (2022) as I had heard a lot of hype around the product. Although I had purchased it in April, I only started using it in June/July as I am not the type of person that can be bothered with the maintenance that comes with body moisturising. I can now confirm that I use this product everyday without fail!! My skin concerns prior to using this moisturiser related to extreme dryness, razor bumps and keratosis Polaris. Great option! I found it elsewhere with free shipping. I purchased this because it was unmistakably an exact copy of the fragrance Maison Francis Kurkdjian Baccarat Rouge 540, and it lingers on the skin longer than the real fragrance. It takes a little work to get it absorbed (white cream sits on top of skin until you do a good job of working it in so it’s not a quick solution) but doesn’t leave a greasy after feel. It could be better in terms of effectiveness—it’s not really that firming. No more than a standard lotion perks up the skin.
