Since my home is on a corner lot I wanted an additional camera to face the intersection, but there is no easy access to power on that side of the house. The motion sensor only picks up animals and people, rather than being activated by leaves or blowing debris and the sensitivity of that setting is also under the control of the user.The solar power seems to work great. I initially charged this unit via the USB cord to make sure it had full power before installation (which was super easy!) and put it in a spot that gets sun pretty much all day. So far, that charge has not gone down at all. This may be different during overcast periods, but it takes only a couple of hours of sun to fully charge, so here in the desert this should not be a big issue.The fact that there is no monthly fee associated with Eufy cameras is brilliant! The app works well and displays everything I want to know on the screen. The app is fairly intuitive, and while I am still learning the finer nuances of the system, I feel like I got the gist of things really quickly and without having to study the manual. It was easy to add this solar unit to my existing array of cameras as well.I would definitely recommend Eufy as a brand, and this solar unit specifically. Great product!

It includes all the hardware you need to mount the device, including screws and mount. The install guide is easy to follow, and setting up the app was easy with one exception. I did run across an issue where it wouldn't pair no matter what, but I read somewhere it worked after a full charge. But it does exactly what I need it to which is provide a splash of light when triggered.My only real wish is for there to be some way to easily modify the angle of view of the camera so that it isn t so restrictive. Because of the way that it is mounted to my fence, there s no real way to change the angle of view without just moving the entire unit. I understand that this is a limitation of the type of product that it is. However, I m sure eufy could come up with a clever solution for a future iteration of the S120, as they have been hitting consistent home runs for my uses.

The field of view is also very wide, which is good.This camera is wireless and runs on a battery making this easy to mount and setup almost anywhere - just be sure you have Wi-Fi in the area you are planning to mount this. I did charge the battery out of the box before setting up and it did take quite a while to fully charge, so just be aware. However, once charged, the built in solar panel does a good job keeping it charged. This of course all depends on how much you access it and how much action is in front of the camera, sunlight, etc. But all in all, the battery life is very good.The motion detection is really good on this and after a few tests I found it able to detect movement pretty well with quick alerts to my smartphone. This camera does have AI and during my initial use, it is doing a good job differentiating between cars, people, pets, and packages.The flood light is bright enough but not too bright that it's blinding. They did a great job "taming" the light so it's comfortable on the eyes but still is bright enough that it lights the way in a pitch black environment.The app is nicely setup and is very easy to use and figure out. In fact, I really like their app compared to other security camera companies in this price point. You can download the photos/videos to your phone/tablet and have access to all the settings of the camera. This can be done anywhere you have an internet connection.All things considered, this is a really nice outdoor security camera and flood light combo that does the job very well with nothing extra needed to make it work or operate. I really like it!
