The active alkaloids in uva ursi are allantoin, arbutin and aucubine. These alkaloids have been used for centuries to provide support to the bladder and urinary tract. Uva ursi also has a soothing effect on the digestive system and helps relieve sore throats. I take it sometimes, not daily.

this supplement is excellent for shredding extra water in the body . it is an excellent diuretic supplement i take it once a week only and its a very good quality supplement compared to its price with mutliple benefits . if you found my comment useful please give me a like.

I have not tried this brand of Uva Ursi but wanted to see if it would work as well as other brands. I have had really positive benefits with Uva Ursi in general for chronic/embedded urinary tract infection. Have been off and on antibiotics for years, which do help, but require constant GP visits and testing. I really would like to take the solution into my own hands for once and despite believing this was never going to be possible, I am amazed (and so happy) that it seems to be working!
I take 3 pills a day of this with every meal whenever I get an UTI. I always make sure my urine is alkaline before taking them, because that's the only way the Uva Ursi will work it's magic in the bladder. These pills are perfect, be ause unlike others in the market they have the right dose of Uva Ursi in them. So I can safely take 1 with every meal. Don't be scared if it makes you pee more often, as Uva Ursi is a diuretic too.
it hasn't helped me yet but im going to give it time. the package did arrive early and was undamaged so thats a plus. i will be buying this again and keeping it apart of mt daily vitamen regimen. it has no tase or smell and it didn't upest my stomach at all.
These works so much better than any antibiotics that can prescribe. Usually one dose of these clears an infection right up. Saves your time and money from not having to go to the doctors. Uva Ursi is not safe to take for long periods of time as there is a possible link to Lithium build up in the blood. But if you're sick of the antibiotics and willing to change your habits this worth a try. It's a great natural alternative in fighting bacterial infections. Good quality .
