Had a few nights of disrupted sleep and I guess my body is a bit restless and hard to get a solid night's sleep. Saw the latest Andrew Huberman YT and he recommends using 900mg of inositol every other day. I originally bought this for fertility, but then saw that it's mostly for women who suffer from PCOS. So I got this at home, and figured "heck I'll give it a go!" And within 30-45 mins, my body was so relaxed. Then I dozed off while listening to my NSDR YT. I woke up a couple of times in the middle of the night but could fall back asleep without being anxious about it. Still needs more testing since this is only the first night, but so far so good.PS, The next day I woke up just relaxed, like how babies wake up after a great night of sleep. I have PCOS and up until recently my symptoms were managed pretty well. After a stressful few months and traveling I had lost my period, my hair was falling out and I became very insulin resistant.I implemented stress management and eliminated caffeine, diary and high intensity exercises. Additionally, I began a supplement routine with inositol (1 pill in the morning and a powder mix of inositol and magnesium at night) and my period came back after TWO WEEKS!!My hormones feel more balanced and feel my metabolism improving as well.
Have only tried this once, then put away to trial again when I’m able.I think this triggered my histamine?When I googled this I found other testimonials that taking other Inositol brands has indeed triggered bad histamine reactions in people with intolerance/sensitivities.So I cannot be 100% sure until I trial again but thought I’d mention incase anyone needed to know this may happen.
