My inexpensive steel Monoprice stands must have been very poor - once I had put my bookshelf Paradigms on these, I had a real "wow" moment. All resonance was noticeably absent, the sound became more neutral, and the lows were tighter, with better definition. The stands also look good too - wife approved. Before purchasing, I had a question for Solidsteel support and got a fast response. Seems like a great company. For small to medium sized bookshelf speakers, you can't go wrong with these.
