The product is ok. Its very noisy so when I work from home I cant be on the phone. But for the price I think it does a good job of cooling. The service when I brought it (Maribrynong and Taylors Lakes) was terrible other than the share house guy at Taylors Lakes who was super helpful. The staff in store werent wearing face masks properly, didnt know anything about the products and couldnt help me with questions. I wouldnt buy again at either store as the service was both bad and not covid safe.

I have a 20m2 room which faces the rising sun which gets quite hot, particularly the lack of airflow - this unit provides a perfect breeze which is crisp and cool and consistent, never faltering and the exhaust is long and easy adjustable, the remote has a few issues trying to select modes which are easily circumvented by using the controls on the machine itself. Despite a huge manual and warning manual it was a Super easy setup and am happy with the value we have received.

Awesome little machine. Cools room down quite quickly while being reasonably quiet. Easy to use. Easy to sleep while running. Very happy.
This works so well in two of our bedrooms (our main system died before xmas and with 40 for 4 days running in Perth we needed to sleep. One very large bedroom and one small one and no problem. Cooled the rooms really quickly. As for the noise (as I was worried about that from other reviews) I have had other portables and I don't find this one any noisier than the rest, it certainly did not disturb my sleep or interrupt watching tv etc.
Ok here points obviously at night-time the compressor is a bit loud as opposed to daytime where you don't notice as much. But this is a case for any air conditioner that is not a split system air conditioner. Big advantage is that you don't need a tradesperson to hook it all up. I like the design and also the remote control has great functionality. The price is very acceptable. Overall on quite happy and help me get through the worst of the hot-weather.
For the price its a good solution. Probably a little noisier than an older style box window air conditioner. Good for a bedroom. One criticism is the pipe could be longer for when it has to reach a high window. We needed to raise the machine on a small table in order for the pipe to reach the window.
Solid, somewhat lightweight unit that can deliver a powerful cold air current (in addition to dry and fan modes), perfect for cooling down a small bedroom. Has a light-off feature that helps when sleeping. A little loud, but I imagine you'll get used to it. Not sure about the energy star rating, seems sus. Not sure how it will cope during those 45c australian summer days, but we'll find out.
After reading reviews an reading about the product it arrived an I found out the positive reviews are lying an the quiet function is completely false advertising the quiet function turns it from very loud to just plan loud impossible to sleep while its running. After emailing twice complaining have had no contact. Will never shop with good guys again an Im gonna tell everybody I know
I use mine in the garage office that I have set up, and it keeps the space cool enough to work. The space I use it for is a bit larger than the rated space, so it's not ice cold, but if it were in a bedroom or small room, it would work well.The cord is a little shorter than is useful, as is the vent pipe. The window insert is clumsy to keep in place, but works well once fitted properly.Not as noisy as some units. Easy to operate. Could benefit from having a "swish" feature on the vent blades so it distributes air a little more evently, but otherwise a nice bit of kit.
