Sony a7 III is an amazing camera with incredible features that is worth every penny! I moved from a very good Canon DSLR camera and I don’t regret it specially because of its 93% autofocus coverage, face and eye autofocus system, in-camera stabilization, 4k video capability and an amazing low light performance.

I use it for gallery and museum documentation as well as in my own art. I wish it recorded 4k video at 60 fps but, hey, it is an amazing piece of equipment.

I’ve been wanting to go full frame after a couple of years with the a6300. And the a6300 was my first kind of serious camera, so I’m all about the Sony line at this point. So far with the A7 III, I’ve done just enough photography and video with it to know I got a tremendous camera, something to grow into, and something that even with limited knowledge, I can produce beautiful images/video. Highly recommended!
I've been with Sony bodies several years from now so I am used to the very detailed menu. New people to Sony might find it a little overwhelming and maybe not so intuitive, but once you get to it you realize the amount of options it is quite helpful. Lens is not the best but is an amazing travel lens if you are out in the wild due to the zoom.
This camera is packed with so many pro features, there is literally no offering from any other manufacturer that comes close in this category. Completely blown away, beyond my initial expectations. The single solitary down side is the fact that they took away the play memories app that used to come in every Sony camera. I used it for time lapses, but I can get by without it. 5 stars!!
The Sony a7 III is a winner! I first bought an a7R II from Adorama, but thanks to their liberal VIP exchange system, I replaced it with the a7 III that has some irresistible features.Since I value weight and go-anywhere capabilities, I’m using a 28mm f2 Sony EF lens and a Tamron 28-75mm zoom. Both are terrific lenses and very well priced. With the 28mm lens mounted, it’s no large than many many smaller-frame body & lens combos.
This camera is great! 24 megapixels is more than enough and I also love the customizability of the buttons on the body. Low light performance is superb, I can comfortably push the ISO when I need to. Autofocus is quick and accurate, and eye autofocus works well too. My only complaint is that the grip is a bit too small and my pinky slips off sometimes.
The choice to buy not just a Sony a7 iii, but to buy it here was mostly due to the availability of this particular set.Important note: I do have a carrying bag, cleaning tools and high-speed memory card already from my previous camera, but what I've particularly liked about this set is a second battery (which really came in handy with a battery grip purchased as well), secondary memory card (as a reserve one so far, but who can tell, right?). Anyway, it's good to have this for free, even if you won't use it right away
