Got the tv in and the picture and colors are fantastic. Very good looking if you are mainly into movies. Unfortunately the pixel response time isn’t the greatest when it comes to gaming, causing there to be less smooth motion. In standard mode there is way too much input lag which is alleviated with game mode but then the pixel response time issue is there leading to blurring of games at times.

I’m an over of the 75 inch Z9K and a 65 inch Z9D. I actually had a second Z9D that I gave to my sister and this Z9K took its place. I purchased all three from Best Buy.Both televisions are premium products from Sony and both have a fantastic picture.I almost went with an OLED but I love the HDR pop that comes from having a TV with this kind of brightness.I think the Z9K gives me black levels that are pretty close to OLED and with the extra brightness - I think it’s the best of both worlds.The last thing I will note is the speakers on this tv are the best I’ve ever heard. Don’t need a sound bar but still recommend a home theater system to compliment this bad boy.Sony has been great with firmware updates on my Z9D to further improve its performance and I ... I got the z9k under a warranty claim for my z9j, this tv is better. The backlight backlight master drive is one of the best peices of tech that sony has developed. I upgraded my z9d tonthe J series becuase i needed a bigger set, the BMD really helps woth bloom amd haloing. The color and depth on this set is top notch

Tv was installed by best buy 12-23-22, Next day video took 5 min to come. G squad came out advised TV would have to be replaced. It (1-5-23) now takes 20-25min to come on, Have Not heard from BB yet. The sony z9k is special order item,Things happen But how BB handles this is what counts,
Let me preface this by saying that Sony makes some of the absolute best TV's. Their upscaling is second to none and they absolutely dominated the OLED game over the last 5-10 years. With their introduction into the 8k Mini-LED game recently I believe they crushed it!Now you might ask yourself, why not just go for an OLED instead of this Mini-LED? The main benefit of a mini LED is that you are not going to have to sacrifice on the brightness of the display and you can still get very inky blacks, although not as great as the infinite contrast you will get on an OLED TV... its pretty close!!This is a fantastic TV to put in a heavily lit room and that would not be the case for an OLED. This tv is amazing I love everything about this my only issue is why I can’t play YouTube vídeos in 8k resolution besides that I’m very happy with my purchase

This tv is complete and utter garbage, worst purchase ever. the quality isn't 8k or UHD it shut down on me for a week and broke within a month. The screen gave out full of lines and dead pixels and the channels don't work anymore. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS!
You can put a downpayment on a house or buy this TV.. you decide! The quality of this TV is amazing but do you really need that much performance...? You have to remember the further away you sit from the TV the more the 8k screen won't matter. Also if you're buying an 85 inch TV, it might be time to consider a projector.
Tv looks excellent when it works, very bright excellent under vivid mode. Dolby vision is extremely dark even with this being the brightest tv in the market.Massive input lag when using remote and watching a movieAlready has flickering lights less than 1 week of ownershipGonna return and get another one hopefully this tv is a one off issue.
