This is a very wide lens that is created for tight spaces. I like this lens because it is light and sharp. And with minimized lens distortion. Unfortunately, it is mostly made of plastic like what some people complained about but for me, it's fine because I like my lens light and I handle all my photo lenses with utmost care. I shoot mainly photographs and dark interiors with cramped spaces, so the aperture of f1.8 is very pleasing to have. I know of people who call this their vlogger's lens. But remember, this is not your everyday lens for photography but it's a wonderful lens to have when you're stuck in tight spaces.

My favorite lens ever. Worth the investment to take your photography up a notch! Just know that with this lens you will have to stand a few feet away from what you are shooting. It can't focus well on let's say a small tack on a desk or something like that (not saying that is bad it's just not made to do that). I use this lens mainly for portraiture

Does not live up to the hype at all. Out of many burst shots, maybe about one or two of the pictures are in focus. Very grainy in the evening time. Definitely will be considering selling this unit and maybe getting a cannon R10 idk. I like it for its compactness but for the money I paid for it, I feel as if I paid too much for the quality of the pictures. Also has to much jello Effect.

I chose the Sony ZV-E10 over the Nikon Z30 and Fujifilm X-S10 for four main reasons:1. Better autofocus than the competition.2. Lighter rig due to better/lighter lens selections (Sony 11mm F/1.8).3. Sony community. There is more information to help with getting the most out of Sony cameras than the competition.4. Less expensive than the Fujifilm X-S10.5. Usage of Gyroscopic data for post production stabilization (Catalyst Browse).Main Cons compared to competition:1. Lacks IBIS that is included with the Fujifilm X-S10.2. Nikon Z30 and Fujifilm have better kit lenses.3. Heavier crops for active stabilization and 4k 30fps.A note about stabilization that I noticed that I did not find in my research: BOTH digital stabilization and post-processing ... MoreI chose the Sony ZV-E10 over the Nikon Z30 and Fujifilm X-S10 for four main reasons:1. IBIS and Lens stabilization ONLY don't do much for video. High shutter speeds are usually only mentioned as a CON of using post-production programs like Catalyst Browse (which is the only thing I'm aware of that comes close to replacing a gimbal. Yes, you sacrifice motion blur effects.
If you are interested in WA lenses you have probably looked at this and the Viltrox 13mm. My advice is to get them both. If you cannot then I would lean towards this 11mm. While the 1.8 is 2/3 stops less than the Viltrox 1.4, you are saving a lot in weight. The Viltrox is even heavier than their 23mm lens (which is also insanely sharp). The other advantage that this lens has is it is much faster to focus than the Viltrox. Regarding sharpness I would give a very slight edge to the Viltrox but that is only when comparing images at around 200%. Again, if I had to choose 1 lens I would go with this lens. It is perfect for travel and the images on a FF camera may even look better than APS-C. This lens is a real gem.

When photographing real estate properties, this ultra-wide-angle view allows me to capture the entire room and showcase its spaciousness. It's perfect for showing potential buyers the layout and scale of the property, creating an immersive experience.Another aspect that sets this lens apart is its large maximum aperture of F1.8. This feature has been a lifesaver, especially when shooting interiors with less-than-ideal lighting conditions. The wide aperture allows more light to enter the lens, resulting in brighter and clearer images. Additionally, it creates a beautiful background blur, isolating the subject and giving my photos a professional and artistic look. The optical quality of the Sony E 11mm F1.8 lens is outstanding. It's designed to minimize distortion and aberrations, ensuring that every corner of the room is accurately represented in my photographs. The sharpness and clarity across the frame are truly impressive, bringing out the architectural details and unique features of each property. It helps me capture the essence of a space and present it in the best possible way to potential buyers.I also appreciate the lens's compact and lightweight design. It's easy to carry and handle, even during long photoshoots. The lens feels sturdy and well-built, giving me confidence in its durability and reliability. I can focus on my work without worrying about the equipment.Since I started using this lens, my real estate photography business has flourished. The quality of my images has improved significantly, attracting more clients and increasing my income. The Sony E 11mm F1.8 APS-C ultra-wide-angle prime lens has become an essential tool in my kit, and I can't imagine working without it.To sum it up, if you're a real estate photographer with a crop sensor camera, I highly recommend the Sony E 11mm F1.8 lens. Its wide perspective, large aperture, optical quality, and solid construction make it an invaluable asset. It has truly transformed the way I capture real estate photos, helping me deliver stunning results and generate substantial income. Give it a try, and I'm confident you won't be disappointed!
It's an excellent camera for photos and video. I am giving it 4 stars because streaming over USB turned out to be useless. My main purpose of buying this camera was streaming. However, it streams only 720p, and it disables all camera controls (focus, exposure, shutter speed, ISO, etc.) when streaming over USB. And the strangest thing of all, it introduces a noticeable lag of 340 ms. If you connect this camera to an HDMI capture card, you will have 1080p, 60 FPS, full control of the camera and lag of just 130 ms. I.e. USB livestreaming on this camera is useless, you will be better off with an HDMI capture card.
Bought this lens to partner my ZV-E10 as a Vlogging lens. We needed to be able to include me, my wife and a fair bit of background in the frame. Also I love to shoot in low light. This lens performs beyond my expectations. Images are really crisp and clear with great colour saturation. I couldn’t be happier. Next for me is the E PZ 18-105mm f/4 G. Can’t wait!
Absolutely great pair for Sony APSC ZV-E10. Super lightweight, small, portable and with good low light capabilities. Great addition in my camera bag without weighing me down and superb for vlogging. The autofocus also great even though its not G version.
I have only had the lens for one month and have taken it out on three occasions. I use the lens on my Sony a6300. i own the 18-135 & 70-350 lens but wanted something wider. I have found the lens very sharp giving nice colours. When considering the lens I was a little bit worried about it not having OSS but this has not been a problem as all my shots so far have been in good light and handheld. So far I am very happy and though my main lens will be the excellent 18-135 as the 11mm is so light I will take it with me as well so I can get the more dramatic shorts or in tighter arears.
