A tiny camera with tons of pro features though the camera lacks depth. Very flat image. And under low light conditions it performs very poorly unless the gain is increased, which adds grain. Very expensive for what you get…
Truly a nice camera and a real pleasure to use.
The 1-inch sensor does what it claims in low-light. The camera is compact enough to easily be maneuvered when on the move, and the controls are good. It would be helpful to be able to delete scenes directly from the thumbnail screen without having to go to the menu, and I need to get a little better at shooting high speed objects. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase.

I have not had a huge amount of time to test out this camera, but it's clear to me from the time I have spent that I won't be disappointed with my purchase. It's compact, which makes it easy to handle no matter what the conditions of the shoot. I'm much more experienced with videography than photography but it's clear that this camera can handle both very well and that is one of the reasons I decided to purchase it. I've used Sony video equipment primarily for over 20 years and, compared with my experience with other cameras (Canon XL1), Sony seems more intuitive and user friendly. I think I'm going to love this camera.
