Currently using with the EOS-1DX Mark iii and this is a monster of a memory card. Seemingly unlimited buffer. Handles the 5.5K RAW without any issue. Very much considering buying another one soon.

Very disappointed in this product, because I purchased based on faith in the quality of SONY branded products but although this CF express card has a premium price, it actually has far inferior performance to less expensive alternatives from Delkin and Prograde. Totally unacceptable and SONY should be ashamed. Do your research before purchasing and don't give them money when they coast on their brand name while providing an inferior product.

I have been a loyal Sony Toughcard user and recently bought a Sony Tough CFexpress B card 512 GB ? When Itook this card out of my R5 camera today a piece of it fell off in my hand. Thecard has never been dropped and isn't that old. I am thinking with the highheat temperatures these cards are seeing with the R5 and even the card readerthe plastic is degraded. It almost looks like there are small cracks around thecard in different spots. My fear is over time the card will continue to fallapart and I am out $650. I called Sony today and they said they will notreplace it because its physical damage. I told them I think it's amanufacturing issue but they didn't want to hear it. They refused to replaceit. I am using a pair of these CF express cards with a Canon C300 MKIII, and they have worked well, handling all frame rates without the slightest hiccup.
I have been using this card in my Canon R5 and it has been very good for write speeds with no buffering that I have seen. Granted I don't take a whole lot of video or keep the shutter button pressed for long periods of time. When reading data off the card to my iPad Pro with a card reader and it is exceptionally fast getting off all the RAW images to Lightroom. It takes seconds now instead of minutes when I was using an SD card. Would highly recommend this card and have been using Sony Tough G Series for a long time with no issues.
When Sony claims that their memory cards are TOUGH but will not warranty that Toughness it is a hollow claim. Especially when there is a defect in the plastic case. No way to repair and Sony says, Physical defects or damage, not caused by dropping, is not covered by the warranty. So I am out $600 with no option to fix the card. They say the card can be dropped 15 feet. Mine was not dropped and still parts are coming off the card. I can't risk putting the card in my camera and plastic getting stuck inside. So the card is useless now! Shame on you Sony for not taking care of your customers.
Prior to purchasing theSony Tough CFExpress card, I purchased a ProGrade 512 GB Gold 2.0 CFExpress card for use with my Canon R5. The very first timeI attempted to take a 4K HQ movie with my R5 and the ProGrade card, the camera stopped recording after a few seconds and stated that the card's write speed was too slow. I continued to have this problem intermittently with the ProGrade card. Sometimes the ProGrade card would work fine, and then only a few minutes later with the same setup, I would get the card write too slow message. I returned the ProGrade card and purchased this Sony Tough 512 GB card. I give this five stars because as expensive as it is, it is valuable to me. I don't have to worry about the card breaking, I don't have to worry about space - it's just there and it works and it never leaves my camera. (Gh6)But that price.... BRO.
My favorite type of CFexpress card. I also use the same type of SD card. Tough!
This card works beautifully and reliably with my Canon R5 to record video at any resolution and frame rate without any problems. While other cards cause the camera to stop recording and report a slow card write speed, I have never had this happen with this Sony Tough card. Highly recommended,
