I absolutely love these headphones and I use them everyday. It has so many amazing features including noise cancellation which makes it perfect to use even on airplane as well. The quality of the sound is fantastic, you can enjoy hours of battery when just charged fully. For me its battery life is so good, you don’t have to charge it again and again. It is so easy to clean, so easy to charge, and easily fits in your bag. I’d definitely highly recommend it.

Bought these to replace my broken Sony MDR-XB950N1 headphones that I absolutely loved.....until their bad design caught up with them and one of the earphones became detached from the headband (the plastic broke), but that's not going to happen with these--much better structural design. Loved those headphones!!!! The sound is very good and clear. I’ve never tried other wireless headphones, but if I compare this with echo buds, I think the quality is almost the same. The battery last long. I’ve used it least 3 to 4 hours in one week, and the battery level stayed above 50%. If I didn’t use it for several days or weeks, the battery level is still high. I’m really impressed

These are BY FAR my favorite ear buds ever. I have/have had multiple different kinds of Beats, Samsung Galaxy buds, Sony, Bose, JLab, Airpods, and AirPod Pros. Comfort and sound with these is my preference. I feel like, to an untrained ear, these sound better than my Bose ones that were twice the price. I also have the Sony 1000 but these seem more comfortable to me with smaller woman ears and/or my ear shape. I can workout, run, shake my head without these falling out constantly. Battery life is very good and even after years, they still have good battery life. (Pic shows one bud but there are two plus the case)

These do a fantastic job. These headphones cancel all background noises by simply being turned on. You might hear some vague sounds if you're not playing anything but when you're playing something? I wanted these to be amazing. I had first tried for my tru exp the half off "J" bud's and they pooed the bed bad! They fell out, held at best an hr charge so pay for what you get right? I then buy these sony tru's and at first I felt "YES!" this is what it's about! However within an hr my ears hurt and that was with the smallest headpieces so it wasn't the incorrect fit. Add to that the sound quality is average at best and for this price you best be wowing somebody! The charge last 3 hours at best and only the left ear works as a solo onesie ala a motorola bluetooth earpiece. I still believe in and stand by Sony as one of the top brands as I have several other products they've hit homeruns on but sadly this is a double at best for a home run price! If you can deal with or tolerate achy ears from imperfect fits and average sound as opposed to the other wired bluetooth headphones then thus far in the game Sony is the winner because of their crafty little grey piece on each bud that helps them to stay in. Otherwise save yourself the trip and trouble to the return line and wait for all of the big makers to improve this concept.

Nice Earphone Overall

I bought this earphone in a bundle and its main purpose is to complement my daily-use monitoring earphone. Surprisingly, I don't hate how it sounds (after breaking it in, of course), which says a lot considering it costs one-tenth of what I am accustomed to.There is seemingly a lot of features, but I don't use all of them, and I don't really need its waterproof-ness, those are there if you want it though.Some drawbacks:-The half-a-second audio latency is the big caveat, making this earphone only suitable for musics and audiobooks.-The charging case feels cheap and no USB-C, and squeaks when squeezed, but it is an amazingly addictive fidgeting device.-The arc-supporters doesn't fit comfortably on my ears, maybe it's just me. I also noticed that the switch on the left earbud can actually switch off the buds which was unexpected.The first placing of the earphones in the charger was fiddly but is soon obvious which bud fits in each side. It is particularly good that the ear wings can remain fitted to the earbuds in the case.Whist I have used fully wireless and wired Bluetooth earphones with various brands, I have not used in ear wings, but these are comfortable and secure. The earphones fit well so giving excellent sound and are comfortable for long periods of wear. Because they are not too large they are discreet and do not protrude too far from your ears.One point not so clear on the picture instructions was the position and fitting of the wings – which way round and left or right. This took several tries but the wings were easy and strong enough to remove and refit and I finally got it right.On the first evening I used for 2 hours and the battery was at 50% at the end.The sound initially was quite raw with no adjustment but I loaded the Sony Headphones app and upgraded the SP700 headphones software. This really enhanced the sound and offers a range of sound adjustment from pre set profiles, bass or treble boost to manual graphic equaliser EQ adjustment. This app also allows you to reassign the left bud button and shows the headphone charge level. I would say the earbuds would benefit from even more bass.The sound is good and the adjustment to ambient, noise cancelling and off assisted by a voice prompt. I did feel that the buds could be louder to cope with quieter tracks in the gym and especially when using Spotify.The headphone app links to the Sony Music Center app (Songpal) and other Sony Bluetooth speakers which is very useful for sharing and transferring between speakers.When the earphones are returned to the charging box they helpfully switch off and begin charging.On removal they paired immediately with my phone and a voice prompt gave the charge level.I tested the Bluetooth strength in my house and got about 17.5 metres from my phone before any sound break up.When used in the gym these headphones were comfortable, switched on when I took them out of the case and paired immediately with my phone.Through the circuit of weights, bike, cross trainer, rowing machine, treadmill and floor exercises they stayed in my ears. There was very occasional very brief skipping of the Bluetooth.The noise cancelling seemed to improve with use both in the gym and subsequently on a crowded train journey.Whilst the SP700N are not swim proof, I had no problems with my use in an intensive work out.For most of this test I used a non-Sony phone and the sound had good stereo separation and I could hear all the bass, mids and trebles though the bass could have been better.However I also tried the earphones with a Sony phone and the quality and loudness of the sound is better. The Bluetooth connection distance was not however as far (about 60%) on this older phone but perfectly adequate.There were only a few issues I came across1) The earphones are not loud enough for the gym2) There is no control on the earbuds to advance or repeat the music track or adjust the volume.3) In viewing Youtube video, the lip synchronisation to the sound lags significantly. I have not found this with my Sony SBH64 Bluetooth headsetIn conclusion these earphones are comfortable and secure to wear for long periods the sound is good and clear, which with the Sony apps allows good control of the sound quality.

Setup and pairing was simple and straightforward, as was the firmware update process. The units look heavy but in fact are light and very comfortable, they fit in the ear perfectly. The sound stage is very good giving a good separation of the musical instruments.They are marketed as Sports Headphones and that is what I use them for, but like most people who work-out or run I use a Smartwatch/Tracker, if possible I would like to see support for this type of appliance, or support for multi-point pairing to switch between audio sources . I have paired my Smartwatch and they work great together, I have music loaded on it and I can control volume, playback, and track selection from the watch, as I find the earphone buttons a bit fiddly when I am running.The noise reduction works up to a point but the ear-tips are of more use to isolate external noise. I tested it on a road run, but prefer to turn it off as I like to be aware of my surroundings. On my treadmill it did reduce the noise but I became more aware of my feet pounding the mat.Battery lasted 2h: 20-25min(2h 50m with N/C off) enough for me but not impressive and it takes 1h.30m to recharge, a quick charge option would be an advantage. I did not experience any dropouts so connectivity is good. The latency makes watching video a waste of time and best avoided. I tried Google Assistant it worked but not a facility I use.The headphones aren`t perfect but sound reproduction is excellent, as well as the comfort factor, these are the main requirements of a pair of headphones, and that is why I like and use them.

The earbuds connected to my LG G8 Android phone and Google Assistant quickly and easily and I barely had to do any real work (aside from downloading an optional but essential app, more on that below). Having the earbuds automatically turn on and connect when taking them out of the charger/carrying case and turn off when I put them back in is INGENIOUS, and while I was originally concerned about not having volume control on the earbud like I have grown accustomed to on older Sony Bluetooth headsets, the ease of using Google Assistant to control the volume by voice command pretty much addresses that issue. Similar to one of the other reviewers of this product, I initially found the volume on the headset very low even at max volume, but this was quickly resolved once I followed the prompt to install the "Sony Headphones Connect" app from the Google Play Store, which grants access to the headphone's full set of features, including the ability to increase the default volume level, change quick EQ modes, and more. My final concern about this product was how good they would be at staying in my ears while I performed any light to strenuous activity. Pretty much every "Sports" Bluetooth headset from Sony and other brands has never firmly stayed in my ears for long and even if they did manage to stay in longer than expected they always felt like they were on the verge of falling out. With such bad experiences I was really worried that not only would one or both of these earbuds fall out, but since they weren't attached by a wire I'd be more likely to lose them. But this definitely is not the case here. Without a wire or remote on the cord to weigh the buds down or tangle with clothing, backpack straps and/or other things, these earbuds stay in my ears comfortably and firmly, and so far have not fallen out no matter what I am doing. Of course there's always the risk of losing them when putting them on or taking them off, so naturally one should use common sense when doing so...like not taking them out of the case or putting them on when in motion or while being in a place where small dropped objects can easily be lost and irretrievable (e.g. when getting on or off the subway). The earbuds come with a regular and large set of "ear-hooks" which are indispensable to keeping the earbuds firmly lodged in the ears, and they honestly do the job surprising well. I haven't owned or used the WFSP700N/B headphones long enough yet to comment in detail about the battery life, but I have only charged them once since getting them a couple of days ago and so far I feel that I gotten far more out of them than 2.5 hours of play time, so I'd have to disagree with most of complaints I've seen here about battery life from the other reviews. The Noise Cancelling feature is quite effective, and thanks to the earbuds staying solidly in my ears, I finally can enjoy constant, high quality Sony sound and bass without the experience constantly being compromised by one of the earbuds slipping out. The WFSP700N/B are truly worlds better what I have experienced with ANY Active/Sports-dedicated Bluetooth headphones I have owned in the past 10 years (from Sony or otherwise). I don't think I can ever go back to Bluetooth headsets that use any sort of wire ever again!
