I previously owned a set of these ear phones and due to there age I decided to upgrade to the WI-XB400, which after a short time I found them to be not as good.In my wisdom I had given my previous set to my son so I went and purchase another set.The battery life is excellent sound is very good, I use them for music but also making and receiving calls and even in a noisy environment the performance has been without fault. In my opinion these ear phones are a great product and excellent value for money.

These earbuds are okay - the earbuds and microphone work, and the remote function is easy to use - but:- After using these almost daily for a few months, the audio now randomly cuts out for 3-4 seconds every few days (very annoying!)- The behind-the-neck design sounds like a good idea (I don't like wires getting in the way, but I also don't trust myself not to lose wireless earbuds lol), but with movement the cord will slip to one side and potentially pull the earbud out of the opposite ear. So be prepared to regularly adjust the cord on these earbuds when walking or even just washing dishes.- On that note - despite offering 2 exchangeable sizes of earbud, I find I can never get the earbud to fit snugly enough to not fall out without shoving it painfully far into ... MoreThese earbuds are okay - the earbuds and microphone work, and the remote function is easy to use - but:- After using these almost daily for a few months, the audio now randomly cuts out for 3-4 seconds every few days (very annoying!)- The behind-the-neck design sounds like a good idea (I don't like wires getting in the way, but I also don't trust myself not to lose wireless earbuds lol), but with movement the cord will slip to one side and potentially pull the earbud out of the opposite ear. I bought these to replace a very inexpensive unbranded pair that I lost. Im less happy with these. My #1 priority, which I was hoping these would be better at but arent really, is that they fit my very small head. I swapped the smallest silicon earbuds out for another pair that were slightly smaller on yet another unbranded pair of old headphones Ive got. Theyre still a little too big and dont fit that well. Additionally, theyre kinda just bulky with the cable. I want lightweight (my unbranded ones were better). The middle section of cable is heavy. Why are there two big chunks rather than just one? It makes it easier for them to fallout of my ears. The battery seems good (I havent even used it for a full charge). Im also perplexed. The whole point of getting them was to easily have calls on it. But Im unsure whether Ill need to answer a call on my phone or headset. Usually phone and then transfer the call to the already on and previously working headset. I wouldnt get these again. Still on a search for teeniest earbuds with lightest weight wire between them that work well. At least Im not really miffed bc these ones were still so cheap. But I like my $8 unbranded lost ones more. Sigh.

A good value headset, but it beggars belief to me WHY the cables are as long as they are. They interfere with listening (the shifting noises are almost prohibitive when I'm listening to movies on my laptop), and they are cumbersome. The lack of basic functions like a RED light when you turn the headset off are missed. Shan't replace with same brand upon need. Disappointing.
It's not the best neither the most all-rounder out there. The sound quality I cannot comment much on because my usage is only limited to vocal and not music as is intended. But I've hardly noticed any sound difference between this and it's younger brother, the WI-C200. Furthermore, like its younger sibling, it tends to fall out of the ear upon heavy movement, and I'm not talking about heavy movements such as running. I'm talking of, where you were to walk that bit too fast to catch the bus or move your head a bit too much for its liking. Before you start criticising my ear canal, I've used many other Sony in-ear headphones in the last 10 to 15 years and none had ever done that. Lastly, I cannot work the difference between this and the 200 model. It doesn't mention on the box nor mentions on Sony's website of any differences. So I'm now left questioning, what is it I'm paying the extra premium for? My advice, just stick to the 200 and save that couple of quid. Positive: -Superfast charge -Lightweight -Easy to stow Negative: -Earbuds keep falling off of the ear irrespective to any size used. -No difference between WI-C200, WI-C300 and WI-C310.
These have served me well for two years without failure or complaint, delivering very good sound quality and enough battery life that I rarely think about it. Last night I dropped them in the parking lot and ran over them so it is time to buy a new pair immediately. They are affordable enough that I'm not worried about the price. Get yourself some as a backup to those pricey units you spent three of four hundred dollars for- and you'll find yourself using the cheaper on instead.
The quality of sound and battery life is great. I have no problem with that. My complaint comes from the fact that if you aren't just sitting down, the weighted parts under each earbud move around and pull the earpieces out. However, to remedy this, I simply criss-cross the headphones, but this only works slightly better. I need to secure the point at which they cross. As an engineer, I think they missed an opportunity to incorporate some type of faster to achieve this, much like on the old iphone headphones. This would remove the residual sound from the wires rubbing against each other, too. Even make it removeable, as long as I have that option, it would get 5 stars. SERIOUSLY, ITS SO CLOSE to perfect for me... Now I just have to use a small paper clip. You CAN ... MoreThe quality of sound and battery life is great. I have no problem with that. You CAN run with these, but again, do it with the earbuds crossed. also running in cold weather (I run in cold MN winters) stiffens the wires so that looking around, they pop out easily (due to the material stiffening from cold). Not really their fault, though. All things considered, they are fine and priced pretty well. Could be better in terms of functionality though! For realsies, include a tiny little clip for the aforementioned situation. Time to Jam out! PEACE PS, if you want me to join your engineering team, give me a call... ;)
Audio is ok for podcasts and audiobooks or other spoken-word material, but not so much for music. They just don't have the beefiness and detail. But what do you want for $20? What I DO want for $20 is for them to at least work for the majority of the time that I own them. I have had three of these in the last nine months. It seems that every three months, one of the buds decides to stop working - either extremely low volume or none at all. The first two times it was the left side, this time it's the right. To their credit, Sony has been good about warranty replacement, and they have replaced them each time, but what a pain! I am waiting to hear back from them now to see if they will replace them THIS time with a better quality unit, or just refund my money so I can ... MoreAudio is ok for podcasts and audiobooks or other spoken-word material, but not so much for music. I am waiting to hear back from them now to see if they will replace them THIS time with a better quality unit, or just refund my money so I can purchase something else. I mean, by now they've probably spent more than $19.99 in shipping them back and forth. I understand that "you get what you pay for"- but that, to me, means that you shouldn't expect top-quality sound and features that you'd get from earbuds 5 to 10 times more expensive, not that you should expect them to just stop working every three months.
The design of the WI-C310 in principle is ok, but practically it hasn't been thought through. The way the cable needs to lie on the base of the neck is not comfortable and actually irritating. The battery and receiver nodes are pulling the cable either side which tugs on the ear pieces and rest uncomfortably on the clavicle. The ear pieces have magnets to keep them together, however are not strong enough to attract and actually do so without fiddling. There are no markings on the buds to indicate the magnets. The bt pairing worked ok.
Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed this time. I bought in the past similar headphones from Sony, just saw those in an airport store, and decided to buy them as my last purchase was very successful. Unfortunately, this time the right side is not working at all, i can't install any application for this model as well and the technical support is forwarding me from one to point other. The fact is that might be that those headphones are good indeed but those Ive purchased are definitely bad.
