I have read a lot about Sophie giraffe before buying it for my son. I thought he would definitely need it and that thought made me spare some 20 euros about 3 years ago. My son was not that much interested in the toy. He played with it once in a while, but not more than with the other toys. My half year old daughter now likes Sophie more. Ironically enough, my daughter’s name is also Sophie. What I personally don’t like about this toy that after a short period of time is not that bright anymore and seems worn out. I guess that’s because of it’s more natural ingredients.

Great quality teether for a great price - sturdy material, durable, and ultimately safe for my kid. The thickness is also perfect for his little hands and mouth. It is the perfect car seat toy as it is easy to hold and chew. He finds the giraffe colors and textures very interesting - which is cute. My son loved this so much that I also got it as a shower gift for a friend.This is a must buy for any baby, boy or girl!!This review was written as part of a contest.

After seeing this exact same product elsewhere for £19.99 I snapped it up at this price. Keen to see how my daughter would take to it I set about washing Sophie. Warm soapy water and a quick rinse and I managed to get water in her squeaker! however no damage done as she soon dried out. My daughter loves her for her teething gums, especially when she's been in the fridge.I would personally recommended this size for 6 months upwards, as although soft she is quite bulky to hold for little hands. Younger babies may find the smaller Sophie more manageable to hold.
Such a great toy for chewing/mouthing/teething. Has many different angles and varying soft/firm areas so baby can find just the right spot for each unique chomping need. They neck and legs also make it easy for little hands to hold on too. Always have it available and bring in the diaper bag for outings.
I personally did not like this teether as it makes a squeaking noise and was also worried about the inside getting damp as it has a little hole and baby would be drooling all over it. I exchanged it for Sophie la Giraffe teething ring instead. Find this much better. No squeaking noise, smaller to fit babies hands/mouth perfectly and she really enjoys it.
Nice product which our son was immediately drawn to. He doesn’t quite have the coordination to use it well but is able to grab and move it better than other teethers, he also loves the squeak. It is quite expensive for what it is though, that’s the only negative.
Got this for my great grandson who is starting teething at 4 months. Took to it immediately and traded his fist for various parts of Sophie to chew on. Its ridiculously pricey but all children seem to love it. worth the price. Learned about it from previous great grandchildren. There are some cute books about Sophie to share with the children who love Sophie
This is a great gift idea for a new mum. It’s almost got a cult status. This works fine. My girl likes it. It smells sweet all the time, so I’m wondering if that’s what makes babies love it so much. I love that it’s not plastic, which is great. You have to be careful to keep the hollow part of the squeaker dry because otherwise it’ll become mouldy. To be honest I prefer the Nuby Banana to be honest- it’s much more affordable and my girl has loved it since she was 4 months old.
